    Media entrepreneur Debola Williams and his wife Kehinde are expecting their first child.

    The couple announced the news via their Instagram page on Monday.

    Posting a photo of wife and her baby bump on Instagram, Williams wrote: “He has showered upon us an abundance of Blessings. He has placed life into us that we may fulfill one of life’s greatest accomplishments. A very grateful heart!”

    In another post, he said: “Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb.

    Williams married Kehinde nee Daniel, daughter of former Ogun Governor Gbenga Daniel, on August 7, 2021.

    Businessman drags Davido over alleged N200m ‘no show’ pay

    A businessman with Instagram account @abusalamiofficial has accused singer Davido of failing to show up for a show in Warri after getting N176 million.

    He claimed the money spent by his management exceeded over N200m.

    On his Instagram page, @abusalamiofficial wrote: “Davido, honestly, it’s shameful that, though you appear rich, you’re not a classy guy. While you might be loved by many, you are actually a thief.”

    Responding to a follower’s comment, he revealed more details: “₦176 million paid directly to his account, further cancellation of 3 shoots, plus hotel bills he made me pay for him, totaling over ₦200 million.

    “If I wasn’t strong, I would have gone mad. What else is industry bullying? Sponsors have dragged me to court.”

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya has acknowledged the grace and help of God in her October 1st win.

    She revealed in a statement that she is going to pay tithe to God once her grand prize of N120 million drops into her account.

    She made this statement when asked by a fan what the first thing she would do once she receives the money.

    In response, Ilebaye said pshe was not going to buy anything once she’s credited but only to pay tithes to God as a thank you..

    “Once the 120 million naira gets to my account, I wouldn’t buy anything, I will give my tithe to God to thank him for the grace he gave me,” she said.

    Raving singer Ikufioriji Olaitan Abdulrahman aka Oxlade has opened up on why he dropped out of university in the final year.

    He explained his near-death experience in Lagos State University (LASU) was why he left.

    The ‘Ku Lo Sa’ crooner was recently featured in a new episode of Tea with Tay podcast anchored by Temisan during which he opened up on how some guys tried to lure him into joining a gang.

    He said that he was being persuaded by cultists to join their fold while he was in his final year.

    Oxlade recalled how one day, his grandmother called him and asked him to be coming back home to Ibadan.

    He said on that very day, his tormentors stormed his room and attacked his roommate, leaving him almost dead.

    “During my university days, I was always in the church reading bible and books. Then I dropped out in my final year.

    “I’ve never said this before. I dropped out when some boy were trying to make me join gang. One day, my grandma called me asking where I am. I said I was in campus and she said I should start coming to our family home in Ibadan.

    “I went to Ibadan. That day, those cultists, they almost killed my roommates. That’s why I appreciate my grandma’s importance in my life. Truly, there’s God. And I’m saying this with my full chest, God has saved me countless times,” he said.

    He said that the pressure from the gang forced him to drop out of the institution.

    Davido’s personal logistics manager, Israel DMW, has slammed former NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, in defence of his boss for publicly accusing the singer of an alleged breach of contract.

    Israel DMW called on Pinnick to provide an accurate account of the situation, emphasising the importance of upholding agreements.

    He made it clear that Davido is someone who takes his commitments seriously and doesn’t disappoint.

    Israel DMW expressed discontent with how Pinnick used the opportunity to praise Burna Boy while talking down on Davido.

    He stressed that if Burna Boy was a better option than Davido, he should have initially gone for him rather than waste OBO’s time.

    He wrote: “Amaju. Kindly tell the whole World the real truth of what happened. Agreement is fully agreement, and Oga would never joke with that. You coming on stage to hype Burna over Oga, wasn’t good at all. The same Burna was still alive. You should have just contacted him than wasting Oga’s time. You claim to love ur Warri people that much? Where’s the money collected by you from FIFA, to build a befitting stadium for the same Warri people till today?”.

    Comedian AY apologises to Davido over insensitive joke

    Ace comedian, Ayo Makun aka AY has apologised to afrobeats star, Davido over his insensitive joke with a sprinkle of disrespect.

    The Nation reported that AY received lots of backlash on Sunday following his viral comedy clip where he was seen subtly mocking Davido.

    During a recent performance, he made Davido the subject of his joke, as he commented on Davido’s multiple baby mamas.

    He described the singer as having a “small penis,” which he uses to father children with different women.

    AY further compared his situation, claiming to possess a “big dick” but having fathered only two children with considerable gaps between their births.

    He expressed bewilderment at how Davido could attract so many baby mamas despite what he considered to be a small penis.

    This particular joke did not land well with many netizens and Nigerians, who found it offensive and inappropriate.

    Having faced criticisms, AY took to his Instagram noting that Davido has the right to be angry with him, especially with the way blogs twisted it.

    He noted how it is always a learning experience for everyone in the entertainment business and he deserves every backlash for the joke that was badly delivered.

    Begging him not to reason it, he declared that he remains Davido’s number one fan.

    “I am so sorry for telling that joke the way it came out in Warri. I shouldn’t even call it a joke anymore. It wasn’t funny like it was during my tour of the US and Canada, and you have every right to be angry after seeing how the blogs used it.

    “Please know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason am. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido,”he said.

    Afrobeats musician Davido has explained why he couldn’t make it to the Warri show after he was called out by Amaju Pinnick for not coming despite being paid.

    The NFF ex-president alleged Davido was paid thousands of dollars with an additional fee for his flight to the venue but failed to show up.

    But according to Davido, he had informed the show organisers months ahead that he won’t make it physically.

    He however said for some reasons they kept promoting the show with his name.

    Davido promised to bring his A game to his fans in the state soon, assuring them that it’d be bigger and better.

    He wrote: “To my lovely fans in Warri that spent their hard earned money to come out. Apologies you had to experience this.

    “I was not going to be physically able to make it and this had been communicated to ‘them’ for a longgggg while now I mean MONTHS ago but for reasons best known to them, they continued to promote the show using my name.

    “It’s a shame. But specially for my fans out there, don’t worry, you know I gotta bring Timeless to Delta State. We will do it proper, bigger and better !”
