Recently evicted Nigerian Idol Season 8 contestant, Chisom Obi Emmanual, has at that he would like to record a song together with fellow contestant, Constance.

 Chisom, who was part of the season’s top seven, was eliminated in week eight of the show, after failing to garner enough votes from viewers. 17-year-old Constance was the youngest contestant for the season and was evicted in week seven.

 Speaking in a post-eviction interview about a fellow contestant he would like to work with, Chisom said Contance will be a perfect duet partner. “Constance. I love the way she sings and her idea of music. We will definitely make good music together,” he said.

The singer described his Nigerian Idol journey as amazing but was a bit sad that his mother was in the studios to witness his eviction from the show. He said: “My journey here has been amazing. Met a lot of beautiful and amazing talents. I am grateful to God for taking me to this level. I was really not shocked about the elimination. My only pain was that my mother was there. So sad, inviting my mother to watch me get eliminated.”

 On what he would change about his last performances, Chisom said: “It would be my choice of song for last week.” Chisom chose to perform ‘Holiday’ by Rema in week seven, but the rendition was not able to secure him enough votes from viewers into the top 6.

 Touching on the major highlights of his Nigerian Idol journey, Chisom said: “My memorable performance on the show was the Asake song performance that got me the first standing ovation of the season.” The singer delivered a splendid rendition of ‘Peace Be Unto You’ by Asake to a loud ovation from the audience.

 On his plan for the future, Chisom said Nigerian Idol has equipped him, and the audience should be on the lookout for something special from him. “I’ve learnt hard work, patience, and timeliness on the show. I am taking these lessons and going to use them on my next journey as a performer and entertainer. So expect something big and supernatural from me. I didn’t come here to play. This was a big platform. I am not going to take this for granted. I will make good use of it. You guys should watch out for me,” Chisom said.

Dj Chris K, is unarguably, one of the talented Disc Jockeys making Africa proud in Germany at the moment.

 Having over a decade of experience on the turntable, DJ Chris K whose real name is Christian Kambilo, says his journey into the disc jockey profession was never for fame or money.

 “I didn’t become a DJ because I wanted money. I didn’t start DJing because of the fame. I became a DJ because I love music and I love entertaining people. The joy I get from being a DJ is when guests say that they had a great time at the event I played. I like hearing things like, the DJ was awesome or the DJ did great,” he said.

 His greatest reward for being a DJ is seeing the satisfied look on the faces of his fans.

 The former professional dancer realised other abilities to become a disc jockey and now a singer and composer.

 Responding to a question if he has ever gotten tired of the disc jockeying he said, “I have not gotten tired but I am inspired to do some more. That’s why I started to produce my own beats and sing.

 It was the same with being a DJ. I danced in my own dancing crew for years. We went to several championships and were well known. In clubs I always wanted to dance but sometimes the chosen songs were not good or the DJ was not into his set and more. So, I said to myself let’s try it. And because I enjoy the beats and many genres, why shouldn’t I also be a good DJ? I like to challenge myself and try various things.”

 As a DJ, who has played music in different countries and cities around the world, DJ Chris K says that every culture comes with its own unique music taste.

 “Unique in the sense that every culture is different. I have played in different countries around the world. It is always a breath of fresh air whenever I go to a new location and I play for a different culture and for a different group of people because that is what I love doing. I love to play music and be able to use music as a form of communication with people, because music is a universal language. At the end of the day, you can understand the beat, you can connect with the lyrics, depending on the person that is able to relate with the music.”

 “Another thing is that, even though I have been DJing for a long time now, I’m always excited and a little nervous before every gig, especially in new cities or countries,” he said.

Singer Sean Tizzle has said that his return to the music industry after a long hiatus is going to be worth the wait as he is fully prepared and fearless regardless of the challenges that may occur.

 He said this during a recent interview when asked about his fears on his return.

 Sean Tizzle noted that he may not have been in the limelight for some time, but he has been recording and working underground.

“You guys wanted me to come back and now we are back and you will be surprised at my comeback. No fears at all because there’s too much that has gone down. You know they say if you don’t work , just do your part to make fate decide the rest. I’ve played my part so I’m not even scared one bit.”

 He also cleared the air about being based in America for years stating that he has been in Nigeria and never stayed out of the country for more than three months.

 “The longest I’ve been in America or any other country wouldn’t be more than three months max. I’ve never stayed more than three months and I have a family there. I just go and come, people say what they like because they don’t see me all the time.”

 Sean Tizzle recently released a 12 track album tiled ‘Dues’ which is already gaining high acceptance among music lovers.

Movie star Ibrahim Suleiman has spoken on the main source of joy for him in life.

Suleiman, who’s married to his colleague, Linda Ejiofor, confessed she with their son, Keon ,fill his life witth more than anything or anyone else.

He shared this while responding to a question on the micro-blogging app about ‘what brings him joy’.

Along with the photo of his wife and their son, Suleiman added: “Without a doubt, has to be these two at the top of the list.”

The star couple brought their on-screen love to reality with their white wedding on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Jahlobia Recreation Park and Gardens, Ikeja, Lagos.

Popular gospel singer, Yinka Alaseyori, has been called out by her colleague, Funke, for allegedly stealing her song.

Funke, in a viral video online, accused the ‘Oniduro mi’ crooner of copyright infringement.

She also alleged Yinka is always in the habit of stealing the songs of other gospel singers while pretending to be innocent.

According to Funke, she has copyright to all her songs and also called on those close to Yinka Alaseyori to warn her and not take her silence for stupidity.

Actress Iyabo Ojo has celebrated her son, Festus, who clocks 24 today while reaffirming her love for him.

The single mother of two posted stunning images of her son, whom she referred to as her first love.

Iyabo pledged to love her son to eternity as she prayed for him.

Big Brother Titan season 1 winner, Makhosazane Twala, aka Khosi, has recently admitted that she has not yet received her winning prize.

The journalist-turned-reality TV celebrity said this in a recent interview with TV3 Ghana.

Khosi acknowledged her amazement at winning and claimed that, even months after the show, she and the other housemates still hadn’t gotten their awards and prizes, including her $100,000 cash prize from the Big Brother Titans show’s producers.

Since the prize wasn’t awarded right away, Khosi and the other housemates are waiting on word from the show’s producers about the unclaimed rewards.

Big Brother Naija star Emmanuel Umoh has received a Doctorate Degree from a US university.

The reality star, who was an housemate in the ‘shine ya eye’ season 6, announced the good news on his Instagram page while sharing photographs from the celebration.

Emmanuel Umoh, reintroducing himself as Dr. Emmanuel Umoh, said that he had been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration by the University of Delaware in the United States.

He thanked God and dedicated his new accomplishment to everyone who helped shape him into the young man he is today.

Former Big Brother Naija reality star Elozonam Ogbolu has described dating in Lagos as a “cesspool.”

According to him, many Lagosians are dating the same people.

He stated this while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of the ‘Is This Seat Taken’ podcast, hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam.

The reality star said he will choose his bride from a remote village when he is ready.

He said: “Lagos is a cesspool. The person that you are having sex with is probably having sex with somebody that knows somebody that you know.

“So, I have often told myself that if I’m gonna get married, I will just go out and meet a village girl [laughs].

“What I mean is that I will just go out of this cesspool to somewhere remote and just marry somebody because Lagos is a cesspool.”

Content creator Trinity Guy has responded after Police Force spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi asked for his arrest.

The comedian is well-known for his outrageous pranks that leave many people, particularly his victims, in distress.

The police PRO uploaded one of Trinity Guy’s pranks on his Instagram page, demanding his arrest.

He stated that those who have been harmed by extreme pranks should begin to report them because some of their tricks are criminal and terrible.

Adejobi’s decree sparked reactions on social media, with many people calling out the comedian.

Trinity Guy reacted to the call for his arrest on Tuesday via Twitter.

He shared the link to an online publication on Adejobi’s statement tweeted: “I am trending, Alhamdulillah not for the wrong reasons”.
