How to know when to leave your man, Uti Nwachukwu tells women

TV personality Uti Nwachukwu has shared with women a ‘telltale sign’ of when to finally break away from a love partner.

Nwachukwu claimed when another woman constantly puts them at loggerheads with their men, it’s time to walk away from that relationship.

The style icon explained men, being intentional entities, would never jeopardise what they have with their partners by getting them constantly upset in another woman’s presence.

But if that happens, Uti noted it means the man is most likely into the other woman more and doesn’t really care about the other partner.

  • Five countries where Valentine’s celebration is banned

Five countries where Valentine’s celebration is banned

Valentine is a season when love is celebrated. This is accompanied by gifts and everything that has to do with love. Though love doesn’t need a single day to be ‘celebrated,” this is a special day on which people express their love and affection for each other.

However, there are some places around the world where Valentine’s Day is or was prohibited due to religious tradition or other factors; here are five of them:

    1. Malaysia

In 2005, Islamic authorities decided that there will be no more celebration of Valentine’s Day. In a bid to enforce this, a fatwa was issued prohibiting the celebration of Valentine’s Day.

The reason for this is that the authorities claimed February 14 has been used as a gateway to disaster and moral decay among young people. It is said that in Malaysia, people who go out and celebrate might face the risk of being arrested.

A few people, however, find a way to celebrate.

    1. Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is a large, landlocked country in Central Asia that gained its independence in 1991 with the fall of the former Soviet Union.

Valentine’s Day is also frowned upon in Uzbekistan. This Islamic country was actually tolerant of this celebration until 2012 when the Ministry of Education’s Department of Enlightenment and the Promotion of Values decided to ban it.

While it is not illegal to celebrate valentine’s Day in Uzbekistan, it is strongly discouraged, and the people are advised to celebrate the birthday of an Uzbekistan hero – Babur in place of Valentine.

    1. Iran

In 2010, the Islamic Republic officially banned Valentine’s Day. The government decided that Valentine’s Day is a decadent celebration of love that promotes “degenerate” Western culture and illegitimate relationships.

It is actually so serious that the production of all Valentine’s Day gifts and items was also prohibited by the government.

Unmarried couples are forbidden to mingle with each other.

    1. Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is another Islamic country where valentine’s day celebration was frowned upon years ago. It was said that most of the practices on valentine’s day were against the country’s ideologies and even shops were banned from selling Valentine’s Day-related items.

However, this ban has been lifted and more people now celebrate valentine’s day in Saudi Arabia.

    1. Pakistan

In Pakistan, valentine’s day is seen as against the teachings of Islam, hence celebrations are banned. The ban was introduced by Islamabad High Court in 2018 after a petition by a citizen who said Valentine’s Day was a cultural import from the West and “against the teachings of Islam.”

This country has been subject to numerous riots surrounding the celebration of Valentine’s Day.

  • I’ve lost trust in my wife, says Mr Ibu

I’ve lost trust in my wife, says Mr Ibu

Actor John Okafor aka Mr Ibu has said he has lost trust in his wife, Stella Maris Okafor, though he still loves her.

He stated this in an interview with The Punch after he was called out by his wife for allegedly having an affair with his adopted daughter Jasmine.

She also alleged Jasmine was in cohorts with a few of the actor’s older sons to deny her and the kids of his assets.

Though the issue was swiftly resolved, Mr Ibu however predicted his current marriage, the fifth, may soon park up because his wife only was pretending simply to get his attention.
He said being married to her felt like a punishment, accusing her of adopting ‘strange’ practices which have made him skeptical to the point he no longer eats her food.

“This is my final marriage. If this one falls apart, I won’t marry again. This is my fifth and worst marriage because my wife adopted what is not obtainable. This feels like punishment; not marriage.

“I doubt if I am still in the marriage because it seems she has already prepared her mind to leave, and I’m not going to stop her. I support her leaving. Each time I see her, I begin to breathe erratically and it is not good for me because I am not ready to die. There are opportunities God exposed me to that are of interest to me.

“Since the recent incident, she has been so loving. But, I know it is all a pretense just to get my attention. I still show her love, providing money for domestic needs and making sure the family is fine. But, I am very skeptical. I cannot eat her food anymore. For now, I only eat from Jasmine’s kitchen. She cooks a lot, and I like eating.”

The father of 16 added: “Right from time, she had never allowed me to rest. When I was hospitalised and she came to the hospital, it was like war. She kept complaining that I did not care for her and the children.
“I made arrangements to give her some money, but she said it was not enough; that I should add something to it. I did, and after she left, she did not come to see me again throughout my stay in the hospital.

“There was one lady from my town that was close to the family. This lady wanted more than what God had given her and when she was not getting it, she started causing trouble in my home by poisoning my wife’s mind.

“Sometimes, my mind would just trip off. I could be sitting, and just forget that I was holding something. I could even be counting money and throw it in the dustbin.

“It is after I must have thrown it away that I would remember it was money. I would then have to retrieve it from the trash. Sense is very costly. Once I remember anything about my wife, my mood would change instantly.”

Why entertainers settle for baby mamas – Speed Darlington

Rapper Speed Darlington has spoken on why entertainers settle for baby mamas than go into marriage and begin to procreate.

Recollecting at what point he started making financial gains from his craft, Akpi in a series of videos shared on his insta stories appreciated a certain Foxy P for his contribution to his success.

Midway, he sighed as one in deep regret while stating the said guy as well as a few others whose names he mentioned suddenly faded because they got married and bore kids.

He noted the fear of going under the radar was why many entertainers would rather have a baby mama than legalise whatever they had with the women that have given birth to kids for them.

He tagged wives and kids as ‘dream killers’ particularly for those in the entertainment industry, adding marriage didn’t seem like a thing he would want to do because it sounded scary.

“Shout out to Foxy P. Mehn! Children and wife are dream killers, especially in entertainment.

“Now, I understand why a lot of guys in the entertainment settle for baby mamas. A wife and a baby? You’ll fade instantly, with speed. I have four, five people as examples in the last three..four… five years, nobody dey hear from dem again.

“Them no go jail or, dem no go prison. They are not sick. They are not dead. All they did was have a child. All of a sudden, they fade. Foxy P, African Ape, the singer of ‘Eri wa’, that guy. What’s his name again? And others…Nobody hears from them again.

“Nobody dey hear from ‘Eri Wa Agwu Agwu’ again. All because of marriage. Omoh! Omoh! It doesn’t sound like something I want to do. It sounds very scary. It doesn’t sound like something I want o! You get my point?

“As soon as you get married, you fade. There’s a pattern. As soon as you have somebody, there’s a child; you fade. Yes, as soon as you marry, you fade,” Speed Darlington said.
