TOPE TEDELA: Abstaining from premarital s3x best option

NOLLYWOOD actor and filmmaker, Tope Tedela has said that abstinence from premarital s3x remains the best as directed by the holy books.

The ‘country hard’ actor said this while reacting to a recent trend on social media about baby mama drama.

Tedela noted that young people are fast forgetting traditional values and religious teachings about s3x as he labels it sacred.

“We now live in a world where s3x has been so glorified forgetting that the wedding night is meant to be the first time which makes it even more interesting,” he said.

“What did the bible say about premarital s3x? The world has turned upside down and we now think that having s3x before marriage is the real deal,” said Tedela.

He further advised that relationships should be kept private and not public as it only gives space for unwanted opinions and may cause more harm than good.

“I honestly don’t blame those who are giving different opinions about other people’s lives because they brought it to the public’s ears. My opinion is that when you’re in a relationship with a person you should sort out your issues with your partner and/or a counselor – if the matter becomes too hot to handle. I honestly think that nobody on social media really cares, and bringing overly personal issues to social media is just a recipe to be used as entertainment. This saddens the heck out of me!

“There is nothing absolutely wrong in either men or women abstaining from premarital s3x. I’m not sure it’s a crime in any clime on this planet. Personally speaking, I admire and applaud anyone who chooses to tow that line.”

Artistes with fake streaming will remain broke, says Harrysong

Singer Harrysong has said that the use of fake streaming numbers by music artists will only affect them financially.

Harrysong made this statement during a recent chat with The Nation while giving his opinion on the outrageous streaming numbers by artists.

He noted that fake streaming will definitely boost the artist’s numbers and probably give them records but it won’t amount to anything financially.

“You won’t make money from it if you are fake streaming. You will get the hype and the number would be high but you will be broke because you have to pay people to do that so be real and be cool and learn to just grow,” said Harrysong.

Furthermore, the songwriter also revealed he may consider venturing into filmmaking someday.

He said: “with music I know I am blessed but I can’t say the same for acting. Maybe I can invest in filmmaking someday as an executive producer.”

Stop putting celebrities under pressure, says Comedian AY

Comedian and filmmaker AY has argued most celebrities are under undue pressure during the electioneering period.

He said as a result, they become slaves to fear and become even more frightened to speak out publicly in support of their preferred candidate.

AY also argued even in the face of fear, when these public figures come out plain to the public about their candidate, they are heavily criticised by people working tirelessly to secure their own selfish interests.

Claiming I aborted twice was all cruise – BBNaija’s Phyna

BBNaija ‘Level Up’ winner Ijeoma Josephina Otabor aka Phyna has made a U-turn on going through an abortion twice.

The reality star in a recent interview claimed to have terminated two pregnancies at 19 and 24 after a Twitter troll referred to her as an abortionist.

The interview was prompted following Phyna’s acceptance of the act while responding to the troll.

But a new twist was added when social media actor, Uche Maduagwu shared a phone conversation he had with the Season 7 winner where she claimed she never had any abortion.
She expressed surprise that the news spread like wildfire and in her defense, explaining whenever a person makes a derogatory comment about her during an altercation, she accepts them.

According to her, she doesn’t stop there, she tries to authenticate the rude remark by giving an example before she eventually fires back at the person.

She added it was her way of incapacitating her troll and getting them completely confused so that they are not even able to respond anymore.

She said: “The whole abortion pill that everybody is fronting….is fine, I don’t know but, what me I have to say is…

“The way I am, when we are fighting and you tell me that Phyna you are mad. Before I will continue with you, I will accept it. I will first accept that madness and say, ‘In fact, I just left the psychiatric home.’

“The way this whole thing started. When someone actually called me…said, ‘I can’t say the same for you because you are an abortionist. It was literally me doing it the way I know how best to do. And I said, ‘Yes, I have done abortion.

“Anything you tell me in the case of a fight, I like testing it because I see it as power. Because imagine you telling somebody that he is stupid and the person accepts it. What else do you now have to tell the person again?

“So that’s what happened with the whole abortion thing. I’m surprised people are now saying all these things.

“So imagine someone telling you something that they expect you to be hurt, only for you to accept it. What else would the person now have to tell you?”

”So there was nothing like abortion, you were just using it to catch cruise? Maduagwu queried.

“That’s how it is o!” Phyna responded. “We were just abusing each other back to back’, she replied. Sometimes, I wake up to see some things that I don’t even know ad I’ll just be looking.

“Everybody really watched me well in the house. When I am having an issue and you say, ‘Phyna, you are stupid.’ I’ll say, “Yes, I am stupid.

“Phyna you’re a foolish girl, I’ll say, ‘Yes, I am a foolish girl’ before I’ll tell you my own. So if you have the mind, collect the one that I am telling you.

“That’s just how it is for me. Right from time, that’s how I know how to quarrel. That’s it. And this now that’s…..I don’t know….I don’t know.

“Even if I’ve done it, I can’t literally just come online and blow it up. Like, I don’t understand. That was me just doing literally the way I know how to quarrel.

“If you call me a razz girl now, like the way they enjoy calling me a razz girl. I’ll accept it and I’ll say, ‘Yes, I am razz, I’m from the street’, I accept it.

“So, that was what also happened that day. And the next thing e come be like say…well, I don’t know.”
