    Yhemolee cautions men over inappropriate gym outfits

    Media personality Idowu Adeyemi popularly known as Yhemolee, has called out men for dressing inappropriately at gym centres.

    The socialite, in a video, stressed the need for proper attire, noting that indecent dressing applies to all genders.

    While expressing support for fitness culture, Yhemolee voiced concerns about men wearing overly revealing outfits, particularly tight shorts that expose body outlines.

    He stated that women’s form-fitting gym wear serves practical purposes, such as support during workouts, but questioned the necessity for men to adopt similar styles.

    He said in parts: “I’m not an antagonist for the gym, but I feel like we need to start dressing appropriately for the gym. If you’re not a prostitute, why would men wear tight shorts to the gym? I understand why women do it because they need to keep their breasts and bum firm when they work out, but men? As a man, why would you wear tights? And your whole outline is showing?”

    Rapper and singer Temidayo Omoniyi popularly known as Zlatan Ibile has recounted how he used the car he won from a competition as a nighttime cab to make ends meet while studying at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, Ogun State. 

    In an interview with popular streamer Shank Comics, the Zanku crooner opened up about his challenging days, revealing how financial hardship persisted, forcing him to improvise.

    “Back in school, when there was no money for food, I would just wait till night and use the car I won from the Airtel One Mic Talent show to run cab from Abeokuta to Shagamu for N350,” he recalled.

    Despite his early success in the talent show, Zlatan’s breakthrough came in 2017 with his hit song “My Body,” featuring ace rapper Olamide.

    In a previous interview, the Zanku Music boss described the collaboration as a pivotal moment in his career, crediting Olamide for delivering a “life-changing” verse that propelled him to stardom.

    Rapper Emeka Akumefule popularly known as Blaqbonez has called on music fans to prioritise the quality of songs over streaming numbers and chart positions, citing concerns about manipulation in Nigeria’s music industry.

    The statement came in response to a fan accusing him of hypocrisy for celebrating his diss track “ACL” reaching number one on Apple Music Nigeria, despite his previous criticisms of chart reliability.

    Blaqbonez, who has repeatedly alleged that bots are used to inflate streaming figures and chart rankings in Nigeria, clarified his stance on X. 

    He emphasised that while chart success is noteworthy, it should not be the sole criterion for judging an artist’s talent, as numbers can be easily manipulated.

    The rapper urged fans to use their ears and focus on the quality of music rather than relying on streaming metrics. 

    “I never talked down on the charts, it’d always be exciting but no artist should be defined by it. Most of the artists I’m currently listening to in Naija are not up on our charts.

    “You guys are quick to label someone a failure depending on numbers that we know can easily be manipulated. Use your ears sometimes, if something is good its good, that’s all i’m saying,” he wrote on his X handle.

    Actor Emeka Emeneks has shared opinions on individuals who participate in the popular Hallelujah Challenge, stating that many attend for the wrong reasons.

    In a post on X, the actor criticised what he described as a “miracle-chasing” mindset, rather than a genuine desire to seek God.

    He wrote: “Some of you are just miracle chasers and genuinely not seeking the face of God. God that loved you when you were wallowing in sin and sent His Son to die for you, will punish you because you left Hallelujah Challenge early because of work or missed just one day? Lmaoo you people should please naa.”

    Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has unveiled a new initiative dedicated to discovering and training acting talents in Ojo area of Lagos State. 

    Tagged: “Project make a star in Ojo”, the initiative will be carried out under the Rotimi Salami Film Academy in collaboration with Ojo Local Government, Ojo, Lagos.

    According to Salami, the project is aimed at giving back to the community that moulded him, while providing aspiring acts with the opportunity to showcase their talents.

    In an interview with Biola Bayo on her podcast, Talk to B, Salami revealed that the first movie from the project will be tagged: “Ojo breed”.

    Salami said: “I grew up in Ajangbadi, Ojo local government. I was born in Surelere but my dad moved to Ajangbadi at a very tender age. All my life I spent in Ajangbadi. The Rotimi Salami you know is a full Ajangbadi breed. 

    “Kudos to all those who grew up where I came from, and who are still trying to make a living out of where they came from. 

    “I want to give back to Ajangbadi people. I’m working on a project – “Make a star”, and our first movie will be titled “Ojo breed”. 80% of the cast and crew will most likely be from Ojo”.

    Rotimi noted that he is open to all form of partnerships to execute the upcoming film project

    Actress Tonto Dikeh has testified of healing and redemption, attributing her transformation to the Holy Spirit.

    Dikeh, via Instagram, recounted her journey of overcoming anger, pain and. depression to finding peace, joy, and purpose.

    She stated that Jesus healed her from a rage that once ruled her life, teaching her that peace is stronger than anger.

    She wrote: “Jesus healed me from a rage that once ruled my life. I used to have a fuse so short it could ignite a storm. 

    “I destroyed relationships, opportunities, and peace without a second thought. My anger was not power; it was pain disguised as control. But one day, I broke down and cried out like a child.

    ” I was tired of being ruled by my emotions. And El-Roi, the God who sees me, saw me. He didn’t condemn me. He covered me with mercy and healed me completely. Now I walk lighter. 

    “Not because life stopped testing me, but because the Spirit taught me that peace is stronger than rage, and silence can carry more authority than shouting ever could”.

    Recalling how she survived depression and attempted suicide, finding solace in God’s mercy and emerging stronger, Tonto re-dedicated her life to Christ, finding fulfillment and purpose in her faith.

    She added: “I lived in it, breathed it, and wore it like a second skin. Hurt people truly do hurt people, and I was both the wound and the weapon. Depression was my closest companion, and I attempted suicide. 

    “But God said, “Child, get up.” And I did. Weak, trembling, but alive. Now when I see people acting from a place of pain, I don’t judge them. I intercede for them. Because I know what it feels like to lose yourself trying to survive. I also know what it means to be found by grace. 

    “If you see me smiling now, living with joy & calmness, please understand that I fought to b here. The Holy Spirit and I worked for this peace. So don’t envy the glow. Seek the God who lit it”.

    Rededicating her life to God, she wrote: “I gave my life to Christ after secondary school, but I took His love for granted.

    “Life showed me its harshest lessons, and the enemy showed me pain without mercy. That was when I ran back to my first Love. And that return has been the most beautiful and fulfilling journey of my life. I am not ashamed to say it loudly: My life belongs to God. I enjoy learning everyday from him and moving in his Grace”.

    She embraced celibacy, finding strength and clarity in her relationship with God.

    She wrote: “God delivered me completely. Celibacy has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life. It is not suppression; it is strength.

    “I trained my heart to be disgusted by intimacy without love, because true love is patient and holy. Now I hear God more clearly. I feel my emotions deeply but I manage them wisely. I am no longer touched without covenant. I am held by purpose”.

    She testified that God reunited her with her sister after 45 years, restoring lost time and bringing joy to her life.

    “God brought my sister back into my life after forty- five years apart.
    Every time I think about it, I cry in gratitude. He truly restores time. What was lost can be found again in His mercy”, she added.

    Through her testimony, Tonto encourages others to seek God, find solace in His mercy, and experience transformation.

    “Those who follow my journey know how much God has favored me. He has blessed me with resources, with wealth, and with good people. Doors open before I knock. Protocols are lifted for my sake.It is not luck. It is grace in motion.

    “My peace is now sacred. If it does not feed my spirit, it does not deserve my energy. I have learned the power of silence. Nobody is allowed to stress me not even ME.. When you have seen darkness and survived it, you stop apologizing for protecting your light.”

    In an Instagram post, Blessing shared photos dressed in a fake baby bump, invoking the spirit of Nathaniel Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge.

    “Dress like your Miracle. You shall sing a new Song. I am using this moment to pray for every TTC Woman out there. Before the end of this year, you shall receive that which you have been praying to God for, and when it comes, you shall carry it to term and deliver safely,” she wrote.

    The Hallelujah Challenge is a viral social media act inspired by gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey.

    Content creator Peter Ugochukwu Okafor popularly known as Ugo Eaglet has revealed the decision to return home from Europe has been the best choice of his life.

    In a post on Instagram, Eaglet disclosed that the high cost of living abroad, including exorbitant house rent, utility bills, and health insurance, had become overwhelming.

    According to Eaglet, his monthly expenses in Austria included €1,700 for rent, €240 for electricity and €400 for health insurance, among other costs.

    “These expenses were just too much. I’m not discouraging anyone from travelling—you have to travel to understand. But when you travel and make it, come back to your home country. Instead of paying unnecessary bills there, come back and invest in Nigeria”, he said.

    He noted that these expenses had become unsustainable, prompting him to return to Nigeria.

    He also claimed that many men, especially those above 50 living overseas, secretly desire to return home but often struggle to convince their wives.

    According to him, such conversations usually spark resistance and conflict in many marriages.

    Eaglet praised his wife, Jenny Slimzy, for support and understanding, saying she had been instrumental in his decision to return home.

    “Anywhere you go, I will follow you. Honey, what are we even still doing here? I’m even bored here, let’s go back to our country,” she told him.

    “I thank God for giving me a caring, loving and understanding wife. Jenny Slimzy is the best thing that ever happened to me,”,he added.

    Since returning to Nigeria, Eaglet said he has been able to live a more comfortable life, free from the financial burdens he faced abroad.

    He is encouraging other Nigerians living in the diaspora to consider returning home and investing in their country.

    “Coming back to Nigeria is the best decision I made this year. Now I sleep like a baby, no more unnecessary bills or expenses,” he added.
