    Solid star drops new single, ‘be strong’

    Cashing in on the mood of the country as it gears up for general elections, Achievas Entertainment artiste, Solidstar, has released a new song titled Be Strong. In his typical style and unique use of language, the artiste encourages Nigerians to believe in themselves and be strong.

    “See Nigeria na my country, I no go lie my brother… Plenty money dey but dem hide am for agbada. When plenty people are crying, dying, chai they gat no food to eat, no place to sleep. Everywhere dey hot, people no fit live in peace. No place to work. Me I must to talk. It is very obvious but still yet, I no send,” the artiste croons.

    A slow tempo song, Be Strong is a fine blend of reggae and hip hop. Solidstar also encourages people not to “let the situation start to make you joko (sit put).”

    Real name Joshua Iniyezo, the artiste is a Nigerian Hip hop, R&B, dancehall, afro-pop singer, producer and songwriter. He sings in English, Pidgin English and other Nigerian languages. He came into limelight after the release of his hit single, One in a Million which features international superstar, 2Face idibia.

    The artiste’s new song is produced by Lil Prince.

    MAVIN Records honcho, Don Jazzy and his artiste, Tiwa Savage have joined the list of ambassadors for Konga, a Nigerian online retail store.

    Jazzy made this known when he shared a photo on Instagram of himself signing the new deal with the caption; “And as we sign the contract my brother #Godwin. Myself and the DoroDiva @Officialtiwasage are the new ambassadors for KONGA.#SMD.”

    Tiwa Savage, who is expecting her first child, also shared a photo of her signing her contract and captioned it; “2015 is looking so great…My boss @donjazzy and I the new brand ambassadors for Nigeria’s number 1 online shopping mall.”

    The now pregnant Tiwa Savage is a highly sought after artiste as she is also an ambassador for MTN as well as Femi Otedola’s Forte Oil, Pepsi and Maggi.

    Omawumi Megbele was the first celebrity ambassador of the retail shop Konga. Don Jazzy is also an ambassador for Loya Milk and telecomms giant MTN.

    The Kardashian family is setting up for another four seasons vof their popular reality show “Keeping up with the Kardashians”

    Kim, Khloé, Kourtney alongside Kendall and Kylie Jenner are all signed on as well as mother Kris, who concluded a $100 million deal with E!, according to Page Six.

    Kim’s husband, hip-hop mogul Kanye, isn’t included in the arrangement, but he’ll still be part of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

    The agreement is also believed to include expanded opportunities for the “Keeping Up” stars, with E! interested in continuing and further increasing their involvement with the network outside of their ensemble show.

    Stepfather, 1976 Olympic gold medallist, and Kris’s ex-husband Bruce Jenner has already inked a separate deal with the network.

    “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” was first broadcast in 2007 and has since seen nine seasons’ worth of programming, as well as spin-off series that had Kourtney and Kim visit Miami and New York, Kourtney and Khloé going to The Hamptons, and another featuring Khloé and then-husband, NBA player Lamar Odom.

    When the doctors attempted on wednesday to bring Bobbi Kristina Brown out of the medically induced coma, they were forced to stop after the 21-year-old began having “violent seizures,” People reports.

    Her father, Bobby Brown, and other family members consider the latest development a “huge setback,” according to a family source. “Everyone was hopeful that this was the sign that she’d turned the corner. We were so optimistic,” “Bobby is beside himself.”

    Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Brown and Whitney Houston, has been in a medically induced coma since she was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 31, after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home. Police are treating her drowning as a criminal investigation.

    Last week, she underwent a tracheotomy. She will be 22 on March 4.

Unfortunately, this iconic dress was stolen from her room at the London Hotel in West Hollywood on Tuesday. And since actresses rarely (if ever) own their red carpet gowns, the Oscar winner wasn’t even able to file a police report; Calvin Klein will have to do so. “We got a call at about 11:30 last night from someone at the London Hotel about a high value dress that was stolen from a hotel room,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Officer John Mitchell told the paper.

    The bad news is that dozens of people had access to Nyong’o’s hotel room: hair stylists, makeup artists, managers, agents, friends, and stylists. The good news is that hotels have surveillance cameras and that dress looks particularly heavy, so it should be easy to catch the thief walking out of Nyong’o’s room with the dress.

    Responding to the recent reports that Jamie Dornan might be leaving the “Fifty Shades of Grey” franchise, due to his wife’s discomfort with the sex scenes, the actor has released a statement to the contrary.
