    When these children make the right choice, every parent is excited by celebrating them to the high heavens.

    This is the case of politician and businessman Chief Dan Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu, whose daughter, Adline Onyiyechi, made him proud when she walked down the aisle with Chinemerem Justus Onyenegecha in Amuzu, Amaimo Local Government, Imo State.

    The ceremony had the trappings of the who-is-who in Imo State as it was a sight of opulence mixed with traditional aesthetics. The bride’s father spared no cost in ensuring her daughter was also celebrated.

    From the traditional attire to the expensive decoration by United Kingdom events to the alluring colours, endless supply of high-cost drinks and array of local and continental dishes, the nuptial is rated one of the biggest in Imo.

    The former National Chairman of the Labour Party ensured that those who attended were treated to the best.

    Iwuanyanwu advised his daughter to respect her hubby and ensure a smooth home.

    The businessman couldn’t hide his emotions when it further dawned on him that his lovely daughter is now a woman and someone’s wife.

    The father of the bride, we gathered, is a sports lover who built the Neros Stadium in his hometown to promote homegrown sports and also deals in health and pharmaceutical products across the country.

    Recently, the agency was awarded by Leadership Newspaper as Government Agency of the Year, the Brands Journalist Association of Nigeria BJAN also awarded them as Regulator of the Year and Daily Trust Newspaper awarded them Government Agency of the Year.

    Irukera is not relenting as he is set to intensify his efforts in the new year to make brands accountable to their customers.

    On January 9, 2024, Ayu will be giving out the hand of his daughter Wanger Mbalumun in marriage  to Oluwagbotemi Olugbenga. Also, on January 13, a white wedding hold in Abuja with a  reception where his expected to host  serving governors, former governors, political gladiators, captains of industries and top socialites.

    Sources say he has sent invitation letters to his friends in and outside his party and preparations are in full gear ahead of his big day.

    This will be his first event after celebrating his 70th birthday.

    A mammoth crowd cheered him and celebrated with him on the glorious day. Despite the state being governed by an opposition party, Akpabio has managed not to heat up the polity.

To show that the state appreciated his good works and legacy, he was welcomed like a king with loud noise renting the air as he gave God the glory of preserving his life and making him assume the highly exalted position as the president of the senate. After that, he also held a banquet in his country home in Uyo, where he hosted his friends, colleagues and associates. It was a beautiful ambience prepared and planned by his beautiful wife Ekaette Akpabio who added a touch of elegance, panache and allure to the decorations.
