Ajibola Bisiriyu set to bag traditional title

Property magnate and consummate businessman Ajibola Bisiriyu is definitely one of the top guys disrupting the real estate business in Nigeria.

His involvement in the industry has seen him working with completed and yet-to-be-completed luxury housing and condominiums littered across the length and breadth of Lagos and Abuja while changing the skyline with magnificent edifices dotting the Oniru, Victoria Island Ogudu, Gbagada axis of Lagos.

Despite loving the good things in life, Jibs, as he is fondly called, loves to operate behind the scenes as he does not live an ostentatious lifestyle.

One thing that stands him out in the real estate business is his ability to uphold quality and his disdain for cutting corners. More reason his projects are always sold out before completion.

He is one of the few property merchants who does not care about making a huge profit but believes quality and huge efforts will organically sell itself to those who value it. He has enjoyed unprecedented goodwill since his foray into the real estate business after dropping his ambition to join politics.

The Direct construction boss is also a very generous giver as he tied it to the reason he has been a successful person. He has often said his cheerful giving has opened doors for him and he won’t stop giving any time soon. The U.K trained technocrat, boardroom guru, politician, philanthropist and humanitarian has never relented in his quest to learn more. He has always sharpened and harnessed his skills when it comes to construction. Despite trying hard to stay off the radar from the cynosure of all eyes, his business and good deeds has thrown him in the spotlight and has made the Oloworo of Oworoshoki and Kosofe land; Oba Saliu Babatunde Saliu found him worthy of a traditional title for his immense contribution to his kingdom and that of humanity general.

On June 15, the cosmopolitan Oshodi-born businessman and investor would be bestowed with a chieftaincy title as the Aare Bobatolu of Oworishoki Kingdom.

  • Ayodeji Joseph in appreciation mood

    Ayodeji Joseph in appreciation mood

If Ayodeji Joseph were to recount the success of his steady growth in life and his endeavours, it would take him years to do so.

Little wonder he believes God’s favour on him is definitely for a reason and it’s divine. He has not always hidden the fact that he is a lucky child born under the proverbial lucky star.

He is an epitome of meekness and respect, and he believes in his dreams and aspirations, which led to his resignation from the banking sector with Guarantee Trust Bank in 2008 to contest as Chairman of Apapa Local Government where he served two tenures and invoked unprecedented drastic change to the LG till date. The lanky gentleman’s demeanour often raises the question of why a refined and cosmopolitan man of his nature will be in politics but he has often answered that his sojourn in politics is to avail him the opportunity to serve and also better the lives of his people. Today he is reaping bountifully from his decision to follow his dreams.

The graduate of Geography and Planning from the Lagos State University, who represented the Apapa Federal constituency at the federal House of Representatives and also a special adviser to the Speaker House of Representatives before his appointment as the Managing Director of the Lagos State Development & Property Cooperation LSDPC celebrated his 51st birthday over the week.

Though he tried hard to make the birthday devoid of unnecessary attention and celebration with his plans to stay indoors, pray to his creator and also donate to the needy, those who have benefitted from his milk of kindness stormed his home in large numbers to celebrate him. It was an unprecedented mammoth crowd of friends, political associates and supporters who came and worshiped and thanked his creator with him.

Ayo was overwhelmed with joy as the crowd nearly moved him to tears. He has never taken the support of his people for granted that’s why he has channeled all his resources to continue serving and representing them in different capacities.

As MD of LSPDC, Ayo has recorded massive success with his synergy with the private sector in delivering low-cost and affordable housing for Lagosians. Currently, his agency is working round the clock to deliver their new project Addy’s Haven in Apapa and the Mangrove in Ogudu project which will consolidate on the THEMES agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu which will create more affordable housing with a less stringent payment plan.

Retro Group of Company Boss, Otunba Lekan Osifeso is a man favoured by his creator. No doubt his rise has been astronomic and his coast keeps enlarging. He has remained an icon in the construction and by extension real estate business.

Many thanks to his shrewdness and his ability to stay dogged and determined which has been one of his staying power in the much saturated real estate business sector. The High Chief Madasa and Olotu Oluwa of Ijebu land possess the innate ability to manage human resources. He also has been able to turn the fortune of his company around with a durable construction project to his credit.

But one thing that stands this man out is his ability not to compromise on standards and quality. He has shown contentment with few but quality projects in his name across the country, hence, demand for his company has been on the rise as many are scrambling to have his company on their next construction project.

The smooth-talking highly cerebral philanthropist on Wednesday, May 24 celebrated his 55th birthday but with no fanfare. To him, giving thanks to his creator is what he does on a daily basis and he celebrates his birthday at every dawn of the day so he is indifferent about celebrating but on most occasions, he reaches out to the needy and also puts smiles on people’s faces around him.

The billionaire business magnate used the occasion of his birthday to visit the Awujale of Ijebu, Oba Adetona Sikiru, where he received royal blessings and prayers from the respected monarch. He also condoled with him over the demise of the founder of First City Monument Bank FCMB Otunba Subomi Balogun after which he returned back to Lagos to commence the day’s work.
