    The fashionable mother of three, who runs Exquisite Touch Events in Chicago, has been identified as one woman who is committed to the service of humanity. For her contributions towards the growth of the society, she will be honored with a traditional chieftaincy title as the Yeye Bobajiroro of Ota- Awori kingdom by Olota of Ota, His Imperial Majesty, Prof Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege.

    It was disclosed that at the moment,  the installation, which is scheduled for December 16, 2021, is the thought dominating the mind of the flying society lady. A source further confirmed that the event is already generating some buzz among Nigerian elites. The best party planners have been contracted, while some fashion designers have also been engaged by beautiful Fashina who is leaving no stone unrolled to make her installation grand as she is sparing no costs to fete all invited guests that day.

    The ancient town of Ota is expected to welcome top political officials, captains of industries and socialites, who will move in their large numbers to celebrate with the stylish woman of substance. Fashina is a graduate of Healthcare Management and Hospitality Management from Triton College, Illinois, who has worked with United Bank for Africa before relocating to the US over two decades ago. She also attended Triton College, River Grove Illinois Computer Science, Westwood College, among other institutions. Apart from being a serial entrepreneur, she has worked in several organizations including the University of Chicago Hospital, Bolingbrook Women’s Clinic, Athletico Physical Therapy and others.

     The affable and youthful monarch, who was recently endowed with an Honorary Doctorate Degree at the last convocation ceremony at the Afe Babalola University, Ekiti, has thrown his palace doors open to all and sundry since his ascension to the throne.

     As part of his agenda, Ooni has engaged in the repatriation of young ladies who were lured, trafficked and sold into modern-day slavery in search of greener pastures in the Middle East and African countries. Ojaja II single-handedly funded the return of over 50 girls who are victims of human trafficking back to Nigeria. Apart from that he also partnered with Mrs. Kehinde Adelaja Okoroafor of MakeMeeElegant Foundation and Olapeju Oke of HopeForSure Foundation to give them a new lifeline by empowering them with skills, equipment and startup funds for a new life. During the one-week empowerment session organised for the victims weeks ago, the Ooni in his usual magnanimous nature, adopted the ladies and their children and also gave them a million Naira each. He further melt hearts when he announced a pledge of N20 million for a movie project on the ills of human trafficking. The touching stories of the returnee would be adopted and redefined into a movie script that would be shown in cinemas across the country. The movie project will feature prominent actors in the industry alongside the girls. A close source disclosed that proceeds made from the movie can be used to better the lives of the girls and also used to repatriate more girls who are willing to return home and start a new life.  By the first quarter of next year, the movie should be at the editing stage.

    In the country today, Colonel Sanni Bello remains one of the most powerful and influential men. He is blessed with an immeasurable wealth of knowledge and also a respected elders statesman, who hails from Kotangora in Niger State. His son, Abubakar Bello, is the current Governor of Niger State. He was the military administrator of Kano State during the military era. Baban Kotangora as he is fondly called is not relenting in his oars as he is waxing stronger daily full of life.

    The ADC to the former Nigerian Military Head of State Major General Aguyi Ironsi, retired from the Nigerian army on August 22, 1979, and was appointed the chairman board of Continental Merchant Bank in 1982. He held other prominent positions, some of which include chairman of Niger State NYSC and chairman Nigeria Table Tennis Federation which led the 1983 commonwealth and world championship team to Brazil. Again in 1984, he was appointed the ambassador of Nigeria to Zimbabwe during the then General Muhammadu Buhari’s military regime. His impact in service lasted until 1986 when he resigned. Subsequently, he was appointed to the boards of Niger State Polytechnic, Law Union & Rock Insurance Company Ltd, Niger State Science Schools, MTN Nigeria Limited, Mainstream Energy Solutions, Globe-Reinsurance, and Dantata & Sawoe Construction Company. To top the list, he also serves as the proprietor of Mustafa Comprehensive School and Sani Bello vocational training centre. His highly cerebral nature gave birth to the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) policy he introduced while chairing several banks. This initiative helped banks easily detect fraudulent and criminal activities carried out by their customers.

    On November 27, the generous money bag celebrated his 79th birthday with no fanfare. He is the type that does not believe in elaborate birthday celebrations but believes in reaching out to the needy.  In celebration of his 79th birthday, He offered prayers to God in the company of his friends, children and grandchildren. He made sure orphanages and motherless baby homes in Kotangora benefited from his milk of kindness as he doled out cash and food. Sources disclosed that when he turns 80 next year, it’s going to be a grand celebration as plans are already ongoing to make it a memorable one.

    One man, who is a nightmare for criminals and bad eggs in Lagos, is Hakeem Kayode Odumosu. Odumosu has positioned himself as a recurring name in the world of security as his quest for a safe Lagos – devoid of fracas and crime – is second to none.

    Ever since he returned as Lagos State commissioner of Police, the former Response Rapid Squad RRS boss has made sure Lagos remained a safe haven discharging his duties in line with core professionalism.

    The English graduate from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, became motherless months ago when the news of the demise of his mother, Alhaja Adunni Sikirat Odumosu, reached him. The former Lagos State Taskforce chairman never believed he won’t get to see his mother again despite the sacrifices she made for him to get quality education that has earned him his position in the Nigerian Police Force. According to those who know, Odumosu did everything to make sure his late mother lived but she bade the world goodbye at the age of 88.

    According to Islamic rites, she was buried the same day she died but Odumosu led top dignitaries to the eighth-day prayer. Odumosu also urged siblings, friends, and family members not to mourn but rather celebrate his mother’s achievements.

    In a bid to ensure the memory of his mother, the Master’s degree holder in Public Administration from the Lagos State University, laid the foundation of a mosque in fond memory of his mother at Ijari, Ijebu-Ode. The place of worship will serve as a rendezvous for Islamic faithful within the axis and its environs.

The refined incoming first lady had a quite intimidating resume as she graduated from the University of Nigeria Nsukka Enugu State with a degree in Computer Science between 1995 before she proceeded to the ‘University of Westminster, London for her 2nd degree, a Masters in Accounting and Finance in 2006. She is the Founder of Charles Frances Properties,  a UK-based real estate business launched in 2016.     Highly respected Owo Chief Otunba Oyewole Fasawe is not just your regular socialite. He was a beautiful bride during ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s reign. He was a member of the kitchen cabinet, who made things happen in the government. He was so influential that he always had the audience of the President, who was his best friend. He knew the then Vice President Atiku Abubakar during his days as a clearing and forwarding agent at the Apapa port.  When the government came into power in 1999, he became a powerful force to reckon with.
