  • THE DIABETES DRUG THAT SAVED ME FROM CUTTING MY LEG

THE DIABETES DRUG THAT SAVED ME FROM CUTTING MY LEG

My name is RTD Major/Gen. A.O. Aladenola. The journey of my diabetes started on a terrific Tuesday morning. I received an emergency call from my superior officer to attend a security briefing in Abuja the next morning which is Tuesday. I woke up early to catch up with the early morning flight; that 45 minutes journey was the beginning of my predicament.

I visited the rest room 5 times which became very embarrassing. Ultimately I knew something was wrong and as I put a call through to my doctor, I was advised to immediately go to hospital.

Immediately I managed to finish my meeting which was another embarrassing moment, I checked into our base hospital where a comprehensive checkup was conducted on me and it was discovered that I had diabetes and my sugar level was 385mg. I was admitted and placed on insulin. That was how the journey started and it has been a terrific one – injecting myself everyday with dosage of insulin.

The situation got worsened when I had a wound on my leg which later became sore. At a point, my leg was considered to be amputated but I refused blatantly and I travelled to India, Saudi Arabia and UK, but all to no avail. The predicament led to my early retirement from the Military.

    MY ENCOUNTER WITH NKHAMBI

My Childhood friend Charles was in the know of my ordeal with diabetes. He called me one fateful day and informed me about what he saw on the page of a Newspaper concerning diabetes and sent a number to call but I didn’t bother till about a week later when my nurse came to the house for the routine treatment of my leg.

Reluctantly I put a call through and explained my predicament to the fellow who assured me that I will be well and the sore will heal up.

I was told that I will use the medication for 6 months for total cure, but within 2 months the sore will heal up. He sounded very convincing. So I ordered for 2 months’ treatment. The first thing I noticed when I commenced the medication was that it helped to free my bowel and anytime I visited to toilet, what comes out of me was unexplainable.

THE DIABETES DRUG THAT SAVED ME FROM CUTTING MY LEG

After 3 weeks on the medication, the sore was drying up and my nurse was also shocked – all other symptoms like my blurry vision and tingling sensations on my feet were subsiding. But what shocked me to the marrow was that within 7 weeks of administering NKHAMBI the SORE totally healed up and my sugar came down to 115 – 120mg.

I ordered for the complete dosage as advised, and after 4 months I started eating what I desired without restriction and all symptoms of diabetes had vanished; no more fluctuation of blood sugar.

Now I am well and healthy after 18 years of battling diabetes which almost claim my leg. Thanks to NKHAMBI and I recommend it for anybody having any type of DIABETES.

  • Ranking #1 for ‘Gambling Statistics in Nigeria’

Ranking #1 for ‘Gambling Statistics in Nigeria’

Gambling has existed since the dawn of man and is now a common and well-regulated pastime in most corners of the world. In 2020, the global gambling market had an estimated size of $443 billion. That is about $50 billion more than Nigeria’s gross domestic product, and it should rise by $200 billion in the next seven years. So, to say that gambling is a popular activity would be an understatement.

Due to outdated legislation, Africa’s betting markets pale in comparison to those in other continents. Online gambling is a booming segment that should soon become the industry’s dominant sector, but due to weak internet penetration (18%), African countries trail behind the rest of the world. However, in recent years, massive strides have been made, and Nigeria is now a rare example of a nation where players can enjoy sports betting at both foreign and local operators.

South Africa is the current continent leader due to its robust land-based industry, which overshadows all others on the thirty million square kilometer stretch of land. Nigeria is in second place, and it could soon be vying for the top spot.

Regions in Nigeria Where Gambling is Most Popular

First off, we have to mention that gambling is legal and illegal in Nigeria, depending on the location and the type. At the end of the 1990s, the Nigerian government legalized specific forms of this activity to generate new tax revenues. These legal provisions got included in the Criminal Code Act, found in Chapter 22, section 236.

There are four cities with gambling facilities in the country, and a total of nine gaming venues exist in Nigeria. The National Lottery Regulatory Commission regulates this activity, and betting on the internet is gaining popularity even though there is no specific federal regulation regarding it. Though, some states like Lagos do regulate it.

Research claims that about 60 million Nigerians like to bet. A NOIPolls analysis claims that gambling is especially prevalent in the South-West and the South-South geopolitical zones of the country. To be precise, the South-West area recorded the highest prevalence with 92%. The reason is the lax stance regarding the activity in Lagos. It is home to the largest casino in the country and numerous sports betting parlors. Agents working for 1960Bet Company, which has over 5,000 shops in Nigeria alone, estimate that around 300 bettors visit their Lagos establishments per day when top European leagues are active while about 150 people wager daily during the off-season. Recently, Lagos passed legislation allowing online betting, and it, along with Ogun, is home to some of the largest players driving the online betting industry in the country. Anambra is a South-Eastern state that is also contributing to this trend.

The Northern part of Nigeria seems less interested in gambling, as the prevalence rate in states such as Adamawa, Gombe, Taraba, Yobe, Sokoto, and others is around 50% to 60%. The North-Central part has the highest prevalence in the region.

Gender and Age of Those Who Play

Nigerians that like to bet on sports and casino games are typically males between 18-40-years-old. Also, most of them (53%) bet daily. Those that fall in the age group between 18-35 are most likely to gamble. Those above 60 years old are the least likely to wager. Responders featured in the above reference NOIPolls survey stated that the main reason they bet is the quest for money. Sports parlor employees claim that the typical bet size falls in the range of $5 to $25.

A 2014 research published in the International Journal of Mental Health and Addiction surveyed 189 Lagos residents between the ages of 18-32, which averaged an age of 25-years-old, and the majority of the participants expressed a strong propensity towards gambling. More than half admitted to betting three or more times per week.

A 2019 study by Mustapha and Enilolobo titled – Effects of Gambling on the Welfare of Nigerian Youths, revealed that even though Nigerian males are way more likely to gamble than females, qualitatively, female gambling participation has increased over time, particularly concerning online betting. According to the study, only 10.3% of Nigerian internet bettors are female, but their participation is slowly rising year-on-year.

    Online Casinos

Gaming market intelligence and consultancy firm H2 Gambling Capital estimated that the African online market was worth four million dollars’ shy of one billion in 2019. They also predicted that the African iGaming sphere should likely double in the next four years, hitting more than two billion dollars in annual revenues by 2024. BtoBet believes that Nigeria will be at the forefront of this digital revolution. Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana will follow it. Nigeria and Kenya stand out from the rest due to their higher mobile subscriptions and internet penetration rates. In 2020, the internet penetration rate in Nigeria was 42%.

Globally, most online casino revenues come from real money online slots. The percentage ranges from platform to platform but is usually around 70% to 80%. In Nigeria, playing online casino games has taken a backseat to sports betting, as spinning digital reels and virtual card action is way less popular than wagering on sporting matches. Local online betting operators can provide such games to patrons. However, if you open Nairabet and other similar sites’ casino sections, you can see that the slot offer is super-limited, as is the table game one.

Top industry providers do not supply their titles to the few Nigerian operators that offer such games. Thus, Nigerian players who are slot connoisseurs or like to play blackjack or baccarat against software or a live-dealer prefer to do so at foreign sites such as 888 and JackpotCity Casino. The game offer at these platforms is far more robust and of better quality than what is available at local operators. Nigerians are free to play at offshore sites without any fear of legal penalties.

    Sports Betting

Nigerians love sports, and they especially adore football. A recent survey claimed that over 70% of males in the country are fanatic about it, and the majority of gambling activity is on football matches (over 70%). According to analysts, most sports bettors in Nigeria do not like to bet on their football league, as they deem it too predictable, and most operator odds reflect that. Thus, they prefer to wager on matches from top European competitions, such as the English Premiership and the Spanish La Liga.

Interestingly, in Nigeria, betting parlors still have a slight edge in activity over internet betting sites. Nevertheless, due to the 169 million mobile subscribers and 100 million internet users in the country, the tide should shift soon, as the online sphere should begin to dominate.

A 2018 market research estimates that Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa, have a combined sports betting market worth close to $40 billion. Naija has more than a few local betting companies. Some of the most well-known ones are Naijabet, Bet9ja, Sportybet, Skybetnaija, Merrybet, Surebet247, 1960Bet, 360Bet, Parknbet, Plusbet, 9jadollarbet, Visabet, and many more. Without a doubt, Bet9ja is the top site in the country, and it pulls in monthly revenues of about $10 million. However, the same as with online casinos, residents prefer to bet at offshore sites due to the higher quality of service these foreign platforms provide. 888 Sports and Betway are the two favorite choices. The first has sponsor deals with Cardiff City FC and Birmingham City, while the latter sponsors West Ham United and Levante UD.  The average Nigerian bettor spends about $8 per day wagering on sports.

    Lottery

Established via the National Lottery Act of 2005, the National Lottery Regulatory Commission regulates lotto draw activities in Nigeria. Their headquarters are in the capital of Abuja, and it has a staff of over 1,600 employees. According to a 2016 estimate, close to 7.5 million Nigerians like to play the lottery. The National Commission predicted that profits from the promo lottery could be around $150 million. Furthermore, they believed that the SMS lottery could generate around $380 million in revenues. However, the industry has not been able to reach these numbers.

In the past few years, several lottery companies have gained licenses to operate in Nigeria, such as Western Lotto. Many of these companies are trying to introduce pari-mutuel gaming and add some diversity to the market. Popular online lotto draws available to residents include The Lotter, Lottoland, Jackpot.com, and Lottomania.

    Summing Up

Undoubtedly, the land-based sector will plateau in the coming decade as betting through mobile apps and on websites will become the norm. Nigeria currently ranks second in Africa in terms of gambling revenues. Naija has greater economic power than all others on the continent, and it should soon overtake South Africa and become the gambling mecca of the region. Sports betting is the favored Nigerian betting option, although casino games are gaining popularity, as more and more players are experiencing top quality slots at foreign platforms. Expect to see the Nigerian gambling industry boom as legalization regarding online betting grows laxer and specific online gambling laws get passed.

  • 10 foolproof tips to play the lottery successfully

10 foolproof tips to play the lottery successfully

It’s not a secret to anyone that playing the lottery is a very fun and satisfactory activity, and if you are really cautious, it is totally safe. Currently, many people have been winning the lottery and all of us at some point in our lives wish we could be one of them.

Do you want to play the lottery and win, and not die trying? Check these 10 foolproof tips so you can become a lottery genius and make a lot of money.

10 tips and tricks for productive bets

    1. Pick the best lottery carefully

This is the first step that every amateur or professional in the lottery world should take into account. Any gambler should meticulously choose a good lottery to play: the draw that offers the best conditions, an inviting jackpot, better probabilities and other aspects that show the benefits we get if we choose them. Some of the most known and reliable are: Mega Millions and Powerball in the USA, Eurojackpot, SuperEnalotto and EuroMillions in Europe, Lotto Zambia: GG World Million and GG World Keno in Zambia.

    2.     Find the best retailer

Besides choosing the best lottery, finding a retailer that offers us the best conditions is just as important. This way, you will make the most of the budget and the opportunities.

    3.     Keep in mind how many lotteries you are playing

Believe it or not, there is a large number of players that buy countless tickets and forget which lotteries they are playing. It is vital that you have absolute control over all your tickets and draws you are participating in; this will allow you to know exactly how much you have invested and what your performance in the game is.

    4.     Keep your expenses low

Having control over the tickets you buy will help you keep your expenses low. Like this, as a gambler, you will be able to play in a healthy way and enjoy it to the fullest.

    5.     Design a game strategy

One of the characteristics that really successful players have is their ability to plan and use strategies. It is necessary to have a strategic mentality to guarantee success, and be sure about whether you will be a casual player or a regular one.

    6.     Make the most out of your budget

The moment you are introduced to the world of gambling, you must closely study your budget and make sure you do not go over the amounts when betting. One of the ways you can make the most of your budget is to evaluate whether you buy tickets from a famous lottery, which are more expensive, or choose lotteries that are not so popular but whose tickets are more affordable.

    7.     Enjoy; playing the lottery is like playing any other game

Most conscious gamblers have something very clear: the lottery is just a game which you have to enjoy to the fullest with the hopes of winning the jackpot one day. As any other game, it is necessary to learn how to play and enjoy it in a healthy way, avoiding reaching extreme levels such as risking personal or family capital.

    8.     Be very patient

If I told you that will get the jackpot the first time you play, I would be lying to you. Even though it could happen, the odds are low. A quality that a lottery player must indisputably possess is patience. Patience is the perfect ally to face all the disappointments you can feel sometimes when losing. However, if you persevere and never give up, you will be able to see victory.

    9.      Avoid using numbers based on special dates

Many people use numbers based on special dates when they play the lottery, such as birthdays and anniversaries. You have to take into account that this method could be very tricky and not effective at all: the number of possible combinations is limited, this is, numbers whose cyphers are above 31 are excluded.

    10. Beware Internet scams

If you prefer to play the lottery online, it is important that you always be alert. Pay close attention so you avoid falling into scams and fraud. Remember to always play on pages that are legal and certified by your country’s government. In Nigeria you can play a fully licensed lotteries online organized by LottoNigeria.com: GG World Keno and GG World Million.

Likewise, never access sites by links you receive by email confirming you have won a draw. And, above all, avoid by any means registering on pages that offer combinations based on rituals or miraculous beliefs.

Many people believe there are miraculous methods that lead them to win the lottery. But this really does not exist. The only thing we can tell you is that following some of the tips we have showed you today will surely increase your probabilities to win.

HOW I WAS ABLE TO FIGHT HEPATITIS B AND FATTY LIVER DISEASE DESPITE MY NEGLIGENCE AND IGNORANCE IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS…

    ATTENTION PLEASE!!!

This is the best scientific discovery for THE TOTAL CURE OF FATTY LIVER AND ANY
    TYPE OF HEPATITIS.

    Stop Hapatitis

“Doctors Predicted I Would Die With Fatty Liver Disease and Hepatitis B.

But with a little effort I made To my greatest surprise I Reversed My Fatty Liver and Hepatitis B Easily, Permanently & In Just Few Weeks. I’ll Show You!”

My brother also used this same Discovery to Remedy His Hepatitis B

This is the most effective and curative solution for those diagnosed with fatty liver disease and any type of Hepatitis.

It has helped more than 13,694 Nigerians.

Hepatitis is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis virus which could be easily contracted from a victim through contact of body fluids. This could be either through sexual contact, blood contact or even saliva. It could also be contracted if by chance a person consumes the waste passed out from a carrier. Slight contact with these fluids can transmit the disease.

For some people, hepatitis B infection becomes chronic, meaning it lasts more than six months. Having chronic hepatitis B increases your risk of developing liver failure, liver cancer or cirrhosis — a condition that permanently scars of the liver.
If not treated with caution, this hepatitis virus would gradually grow into a more severe state which is know as the Hepatitis B. This is the state which results in scarring of the liver, abnormal functionality of the liver and in due time, liver cancer. These symptoms would only show after the hepatitis A has developed into hepatitis B and I’ve had my own share of it.

So if you value your health, I’d suggest that you take a few moments to answer the following questions: ·

    • Are you diagnosed of Hepatitis? ·
    • Do you often feel tired or weak? ·
    • Do you sometimes experience back pain, abdominal pain or lower torso
    discomfort? ·
    • Do you ever feel nauseous or suffer from a loss of appetite? ·
    • Does your skin or the whites of your eyes appear yellowish in color? ·
    • Do you binge drink, or drink alcohol on a regular basis? ·
    • Do you smoke? ·
    • Are you trying to lose Belly Fat or weight but not seem to be working? ·
    • Are you overweight and struggling to shift those excess pounds? ·
    • Did you just suddenly lost weight drastically? ·
    • Have you noticed a patchy, dark skin discoloration, usually on the neck or
    underarm area? ·
    • Do you have bad skin, and just don’t know why? ·
    • Do you ever suffer from abdominal pains and cramping? ·
    • Do you suffer from headaches, or experience confusion, impaired judgment,
    or have trouble concentrating?
    • Do you always feel hungry, and as a result, are constantly snacking on sugary
    or starchy foods?

    And finally… ·

    • Do you have a general feeling of ill health, and can’t figure out what it might be?

If you answered “YES” to any of those questions, then you’re exactly in the right place…

Because you could be suffering from the effects of a “FATTY LIVER” or HEPATITIS

    And

…if not treated fast may lead to liver cancer or liver failure

  • How the Nigerian Gaming Industry Changed in 2020

How the Nigerian Gaming Industry Changed in 2020

The global gaming industry is on the up. Sports betting, online casino, console and mobile gaming, and esports: their value is increasing. Nigeria, with its mid-twenties-to-forties weighted and growing population, is seeing this trend first-hand, as a variety of factors enable the country, and its citizen’s help and make the most of it.

    Technology

Technology plays an important role in the gaming industry’s continued boom globally and in Nigeria. According to a BBC report, one-hundred million Nigerians are able to access the internet, “with new subscribers logging on in the last quarter of 2019.” A main means of getting onto the internet – to log onto social media, Google a question, or load up online casino – is via a mobile device. At least 83% of Nigerian citizens have smartphones. More citizens are able to buy and use mobile phones for day-to-day needs and activities. As such, the market has grown with this access. It is a feedback loop.

In addition to this, foreign investment in Nigeria’s telecommunication sector in 2019 rose by 725% from 2018. This kind of investment can do a lot of good things. Notably, it can improve the product. Software and hardware technology can be developed and installed to a higher standard. This, naturally, makes the product more appealing to consumers. Exposure – increased advertising, good public relations – is also boosted by foreign investment. Big names and partnerships can attract attention and increase that level of trust from the customer.

    Gambling Regulation

An important step for the country, as a reaction to the industry, was that regulation for gaming and gambling started to be introduced. This scrutiny of new and updated policies – legality and tax – enabled businesses that could thrive to thrive. Not only that, but the handing out of license also enabled customers to trust businesses and the industry.

    Publications

Also, publications have popped up and publish articles to support the industry, and guide both new and experienced players to the best titles and developers. There are plenty of, for instance, online casinos in Nigeria which offer no deposit bonuses, as explained by nodepositexpolorer.com. Comparison sites and reviews can help customers make sense of the industry. Filtering through options, ensuring that they pick the right deal for themselves.

    Sports Betting

With the popularity of England’s Barclays Premier League and the upcoming AFCON where Nigeria will be hoping to play, amongst other sports like basketball, athletics, and boxing, sports betting is a major player in Nigeria’s gaming industry. Publications in this vein will always be prominent, locally and globally.

Offering tips, predictions, and breaking news about upcoming matches and events. There’re reportedly sixty million Nigerians who are active in sports betting. Annually, this market generates almost two billion dollars, which is about ten percent of Nigeria’s 2020 national budget. That’s a very high figure. Not only has technology increased access to sports betting sites and safer means of depositing money, but it also increases access to international sports, to check scores and watch matches.

    Esports

There is also major investment in Nigerian esports from the country itself, with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development supporting the endeavour, and a governing body called Esports Nigeria. It is not just a case of wanting to be competitive globally, to show up to events and finish towards the top, but Nigeria wants to be the esports hub of Africa.

In early 2020, Nigeria hosted a PUBG mobile competition, where teams from ten African nations played for a prize pool. Esports is a major commitment though. It is like anything: there needs to be conditions in which players can play and improve: casually or professionally. Cultivating that environment and prosperous conditions is integral to continued improvement and success. It might be worth it, to plug into an impressively growing market.

  • Should You Invest in Bitcoin as a Nigerian?

Should You Invest in Bitcoin as a Nigerian?

There’s a lot of noise today about bitcoin, especially in 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic being a huge factor. The price of bitcoin is volatile but it has kept a good track record across the globe over the years since it was launched in 2009.

The crypto market has been making waves in Africa in recent years, and Nigeria seems to be Africa’s king in bitcoin. The reason is not far-fetched, as Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and the continent generally struggles with inflation and devaluation in their currency. Recent data from UsefulTulips in Sub-saharan Africa shows how Nigeria leads Africa’s peer to peer transactions.

The rate at which Nigerians have been switching more into cryptocurrency lately cannot be dismissed. Improvement in technology in the country has also contributed to this growth. Today, we have several effective software and apps such as the Bitcoin Rush app among others. These apps provide accurate data to give users an insight into the latest news and trends in the crypto market. It also makes it easier to invest in and trade bitcoins anytime and anywhere.

The accessibility and ease in transactions are one of the major factors encouraging more Nigerians to use cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. The average Nigerian knows how tedious it is to complete transactions, especially across borders, via the traditional banking system. With the bitcoin system, you can easily send and receive money across borders within seconds and with low transaction fees. You can complete international transactions with a few clicks on your phone and any Nigerian would choose this over long queues and ridiculous paperwork at any institution.

While you may get a little too excited knowing how Nigerians are embracing bitcoin, we should also consider the possibility of fraudulent activities. Bitcoin fraud is everywhere across the world for several reasons but in Nigeria, one of the major reasons why most people fall prey to it is due to ignorance and greed. To avoid being a victim of fraudulent activities in crypto, you must understand how the market works. Don’t start investing because you heard it’s the next big thing but rather, do your research and seek to understand the basics before taking a step.

More importantly, don’t try to put all your money into it expecting a huge return. Investment experts would advise that you only invest the amount you can easily let go and this is because of the market volatility that doesn’t assure anyone of what to expect. If you’re a beginner in crypto investment, start small and keep learning.

    Conclusion
The answer to whether or not you should invest in bitcoin as a Nigerian is not far-fetched. Everyone looking for an easier way to send and receive money or to invest in something that will pay back handsomely should consider bitcoin as one of their options. Bitcoin has had a good track record over the years that you can bank on and considering the Naira devaluation, you will need the crypto market to help preserve the value of your money in the long run.
