MY Story

Things got bad I think I remember it was one cold morning in the month of July I was just 12 years then when my dad was heading off to work I was carrying his bag, he was talking to me about the fight I had a day before which my mom report to him, I remember he told me never Fight unless you fighting to succeed as we are having this conversation just before he enter into his car, in a moment it feels like a whirlwind blow across him next thing I saw was my dad on the floor from his left side of his mouth down to his arm and his left leg was paralyzed , I was really shocked I thought his dead I ran inside shouting mummy, mummy daddy has died, after sometimes that looks like an eternity he was rush to the hospital and we were told he got stroke, at that time I never knew what that was all I could think was what could be so wicked to render my dad powerless I was so scared, after been hospitalized for over 6 month he was brought back home with little or no improvement, it was so bad that my two older brother had stop schooling for a while, fast forward after 3 years we lost him, I can’t really cry cause to me it feels as if have lost him since that cold morning in July, I can’t really understand much but we had to move from our 3 bedroom flat in Festac to one face me I face you apartment in Mushin, that’s when I come to realize that something terribly has actually hit us.
