    THE news making the rounds is that all may not be well with the seven-month old marriage of Tombra,the son of former governor of Bayelsa state,DSP  Alamieyeseigha and his beautiful wife, Chikodi Stella Ononiwu,the the CEO – House of Diella.  . The couple had their engagement towards the end of 2013 while their registry was in March 2014. This was followed by a traditional wedding last year July in Nwangele LGA Imo State. Their talk of the town white wedding was held in Abuja in August.

    The news making the rounds is that the gorgeous Adama Indimi  one of the daughters of Maiduguri-based billionaire oil magnate and chairman of Oriental Energy Resources., Alhaji Mohammed Indimi, is engaged to hip-hop sensation,Dbanj.  The lovebirds were spotted together at the birthday of the Koko Master’s mum held at   Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel last year. Sources every of Mrs Oyebanjo’s children were there with their partners.

     Adama who is a model also runs a successful travel agency, Kauna Solutions. The masters’ degree holder from Lynn University, Florida US, spent most of her adolescent life in England. She shuttles between African, European and Middle-East.

    Popular businessman and socialite, Taiwo Afolabi, Managing Director of Sifax Group, has closed down his nite club, De Eclipse, in the United Kingdom. The collapse of this business interest we gathered is not unconnected with lack of patronage.

    When the fun spot was opened years back in South East London,sources said the shipping magnate had thought  it would be money spinning. Another source squealed that he wanted to prove that he was a jack of all trades and master of all,but rather than break even,Afolabi had been using the returns on his shipping business to run the nite club before the final closure  .

    Highly cerebral,Oteh assumed office in January 2010,she  was appointed by the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua in 2009 but resumed in January 2010. She had a running battle with the House of Representatives as lawmakers called for her removal after she accused the leadership of a committee of demanding bribe from her commission.

    She would certainly be remembered for rescuing the capital market from the doldrums in which it was mired as a result of sharp practices that were rife and the global financial crisis soon after she assumed office.

    The couple have been together for several months and we have spotted them together at several events before their engagement last year. Peter is the CEO of Tilt Group and he is said to be bonding well with Jennifer’s five year-old son.

Not that his party is coasting home to victory, rather his last son,Ahmed who got married to Karimot,daughter of Lagos based businessman, Alhaji Adamson Bamisedun last year have welcomed their first child.  Ahmed, a graduate of International Relations, Coventry University, UK is the Managing Director of Dado Nigeria Limited, met Karimot, a first class graduate of information Technology from Birmingham University, UK through a friend in Lagos, and they were friends for three years before they started courtship and eventually got married in an elaborate wedding last year.

    Tungba gospel sensation, Yinka Ayefele, drew people from walks of life to Ipoti-Ekiti for the final burial of his late father, High Chief Taiwo Ayefele, popularly called Baba Teacher.

    Top socialites stormed the venue among who were Princess (Dr) Toyin Kolade, Titi Abubakar and Abiodun Yuguda and other fans of the music star at home and abroad. The final rites of passage for the deceased who died on his 76th birthday in October 2014 began with a lying-in-state on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Ipoki Ekiti Civic Centre. This was followed by a service of songs on Friday at Orita Market, Iwaro Street in Ipoki Ekiti. The burial service was held on Saturday at Our Saviours Anglican Church.
