  • Owen Aisien’s new calling

    CO-OWNER of Rehab Nightclub in Lagos, Aisien Owen, has found a new interest outside the nightclub business. The young man, who ran Rehab with his friend, Lolu Shodeinde, before it was closed down for renovation, is now taking charge of the sales and promotion of Frontera wine which was introduced into the country by his father.

    The move has engendered rumours that the Rehab may not be opened for operation again.

  • Titi Masha pregnant again

    BARELY two years after she was delivered of a baby, Titi Masha, the newest wife of the Fuji King, Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, is pregnant again. Informed sources said the socialite has jetted out of the country. We gathered that she will be living in Chicago, Illinois, USA where she is also expected to be delivered of the baby.

    The couple welcomed a daughter, Anjola, together in February 2013, and their love has indeed continued to wax strong.

  • R. Kelly avoids question over daughter’s transgender

    R. KELLY avoided a question about his daughter’s recent decision to ‘come out’ as transgender when asked about the news during an interview.

    Kelly’s youngest daughter Jaya, 13, made the announcement on Facebook.com earlier this month, revealing she is now going by the name Jay Kelly after identifying as a male since the age of six.

    The singer was asked directly about his child’s decision by a DJ at a radio station in Chicago, Illinois but failed to give a straight answer.

    When the WGCI-FM journalist broached the subject, he replied, “You don’t really wanna open it (the talk) up by saying my daughter is becoming my son, because if that were true… don’t even give the blogs that kind of credit. You know what I’m saying? Real talk.

    “As far as that’s concerned, always believe what you see… with your own eyes that is. Always believe what you see. That’s the best way to go about this business. I’ve heard a lot of things about a lot of people, and it was never true.”

    Kelly has two other children with his ex-wife Andrea.

    The boutique was opened to shoppers at a star-studded launch party and had the grand unveiling of FABoSphere and other exciting new ventures into the world of lifestyle.

  • Courteney Cox is engaged

    COURTENEY Cox is engaged to boyfriend Johnny McDaid, the duo revealed on Twitter. The “Cougar Town” actress and Snow Patrol rocker both respectively tweeted on June 26: “I’m engaged to him!” and “I’m engaged to her!”

    The “Friends” alum and McDaid, 37, were first spotted in December 2013 as they attended Jennifer Aniston’s holiday party in L.A. In April, the couple’s pal Ed Sheeran spilled the beans that they had moved in together.

    Courteney was previously married to actor David Arquette. The two got married in 1999, but separated in 2010. After two years of separation, Courteney filed for divorce which was finalized in 2013.

    LOURDE Leons, Madonna’s daughter graduated from high school on June 25.    The 17-year-old designer looked all grown up in a chic yellow sundress as she arrived for her big day at Lincoln Center in New York City. The teen then donned a white cap and gown as she received her diploma from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City

    Despite feeling “slightly saddened” as she looked back on her four years in high school, Madge’s daughter’s education isn’t done she is going to college.

    Lourdes, who goes by Lola, has enrolled as a freshman at the University of Michigan, Madonna’s alma mater. The “Like a Prayer” singer’s daughter, with ex Carlos Leon, registered in the university’s directory as a student in the undergraduate music, theatre, and dance program, in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in fine arts in musical theatre.

    HAJIA Amina Titi Abubakar, wife of the former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has remained only a blip on the social radar for some time now, but the Ilesa-Osun State-born socialite is gradually returning to social reckoning. She recently played host at one of her sons’ wedding in Dubai, and ever since she seemed to have taken her place in the social circuit.

    She was among the guests that graced the 25th coronation anniversary of Osile of Oke-Ona, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso.
