Director General/Chief Executive of Teen Ambassadors Foundation, Dr Paul Adiwu, has urged citizens to contribute to the development of the society wherever they find themselves.
He said this at the dedication of the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Kissaloi, Plateau State, which was built by the Adiwu’s Family in loving memory of their Matriarch, Late Mrs Igye Ozaka Esther Adiwu.
Dr Adiwu, who handed over the keys of the place of worship to the Catholic Archbishop of Jos, Most Rev Dr Mathew Ishaya Audu, at the event, urged that people should come out and intervene positively in one way or the other.
Though not a Catholic, Dr Adiwu described the gesture as an act of grace and in honour of his late grandmother’s heart desire.

The Technical Assistant (Legislative) to the Clerk to the National Assembly said, “Everybody should come out to intervene in the society in one way or the other, personally. We would have a better society. This is pure service to humanity. It is not to be attributed to anybody’s talent.
The homily, delivered by Catholic Archbishop of Jos, Most Rev Ishaya Audu, centred on living Christlike life and an opportunity for the parishioners to also rededicate their lives to God.
The congregation could not hide their joy as they sang and danced about the new place of worship.
A parishioner, Dominic Damar, said, “We are very excited. More than excited. The Lord that opened doors for him, let it be more than whatever he is expecting in his life and his family.”
Another parishioner, Bilhatu John, also expressed gratitude for the gesture and prayed for blessings on the life of the donor.
Work on the building started 28 February and was completed in July 2023.
The well attended event drew priests, catechists, seminarians, knights and their ladies, and seminarians among others.
