Class of 1983 at  Anglican Comprehensive College, Offa, Kwara State, has completed two furnished modern classroom blocks and office spaces, to be donated to the 65 year-old school.

President of the Class, Mr. Sanusi Mudasiru, chief Audit and Assurance officer at United Bank for Africa Group, said the donation is part of activities to mark the set’s 40th reunion anniversary.

The reunion and handover will be held on the school premises on Saturday, with Governor Abdulraham Abdulrasaq, Oloffa of Offa, Mufutai Gbadamosi, religious leaders and  old students in attendance.

Mudasiru said the class of ‘83 decided to give back to the school to improve the learning environment while fulfilling giving back to the society.

“This is the power of coming together and I enjoin past and present students to learn from the little we have done, and come together to better the learning experience of present and coming students,” Mudasiru said.

Two years ago, they donated generators, scanning and photocopy machines and other items. Anglican Comprehensive College, Offa, was founded in 1967  by the Anglican Church  of Church Missionary Society of Nigeria, Offa Chapter.
