Life of General Overseer/Founder of World Evangelism Incorporated (WEBIC), Prophetess Mercy Ayorinde has advised Christians to e holy to attract God’s mercy, saying hypocrisy is also responsible for delay in achieving goals.
Prophetess Ayorinde spoke to reporters in Lagos where she shared her encounter with God as guest of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at its 70th Annual Convention.
She said God told her: “I want my children to live and eat holy. I am not happy with the mode of dressing of my people especially women. “My children claim they are born again, but are not holy. They don’t practise what they preach. I want them to retrace their steps and truly serve me”.
She spoke on the economy and politics, advising Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to provide a level-playing field to bring out leaders that fear God.
On the divine encounter which happened at 3,58am,she recalled God said,”I want my children to live and eat holy.Am not happy with the mode of dressing of my people especially women among them.
“My children claim they are born again, but are not holy.They don’t practise what they preach. I want them to retrace their steps and truly serve me”,God says.
She urged Christians to shun bitterness, wickedness and hatred in order to enjoy the goodness of God.
On politics,Ayorinde advised the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to provide a level playing field such that will bring out leaders that fear God. She told politicians not to make politics a do or die affair while urging them to be peaceful
