Come October 6, 2018, popular entertainer, Mobolaji Fasasi. G, who is more known as Da Emperor, will host artistes to an event tagged ‘A Date with Da Emperor.’
The event holds at Royal Lounge, Aguda, Ogba, Lagos.
Da Emperor will be performing his hit songs and there will also be special appearances and performances from other celebrities.
According to Da Emperor, the event is to celebrate artistes while they are alive.
“I feel artistes that do really good music are not always well celebrated when alive, but once they die bam! it’s a different case,” said the rapper, actor, songwriter and architect.
“You tend to see people celebrating their legacy everywhere and through every possible medium. So I’m like why wait till an artiste that makes good music dies before showing him / her Real Good Love for a job well done? To this effect, I had to put together the event “A Date with Da Emperor”.
Da Emperor also said he will be unveiling his record label, Etiemelo Empire Entertainment. The artiste who will celebrate his birthday on October 5, plans to visit and hope to use proceeds from the event to celebrate with the less privileged.
“Usually, I always love to celebrate my birthdays with the less privileged, so if I’m able to raise something substantial off the event, then a chunk of it goes back to the less privileged because ” I’m always inspired by reaching out a hand full of love to others.”
