Dotun Adegbesan’s kind heart

Ireland-Based businessman, Chartered Accountant and Management strategist Adedotun Adegbesan is one of the few people in the diaspora flying the high Nigeria flag with pride on his sleeves. Despite being resident in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland, Mr Dotun has shown that he is still in tune with his motherland with his immense contribution to the development of human capacity through his ELOM FOUNDATION which seeks to provide support and assistance to people living with visual impairment.

In appreciation of his good works for the downtrodden, payment of poor children’s school fees, and providing medical succour among other charitable deeds; Oba (Dr) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro and paramount ruler of Yewaland conferred on him a traditional chieftaincy title as The Otunba Bobaseto of Ilaro Yewa. At the installation ceremony at the Olu’s palace, the Economics graduate from the University of Ibadan was celebrated to the high heavens as those who mattered most in the country gathered to share in his joy. At the conferment ceremony, through his foundation, he launched a school fee scholarship for a total of 20 persons living with visual impairment where he will fund their education from their current level through their university education as a way of saying thank you to his immediate environment.

The Certified CPR and AED instructor who is also a chartered account at the Dublin City Council said he is committed to lifting many people who are willing to embrace education and sees their impairment as a barrier but in his capacity, he will make sure he continues to support the government by encouraging those he can and take them out of the street; seeing them through their education.
