One person died while 17 others, including six visually-impaired persons, sustained injuries in an accident on Onitsha-Awka Expressway, Anambra State.
The crash, which occurred on Wednesday night after Odumodu Junction, Umunya, involved a commercial Mitsubishi bus with 18 passengers on board.
According to an eyewitness, the bus driver was a top speed when the vehicle suddenly crashed following a tyre burst.
