Nigeria’s D’Tigers’ star Jordan Nwora equalled a record set by legend Reggie Miller in 1994 in the National Basketball Association (NBA) game involving his club Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks.
The Pacers lost the game 130-140 but the Nigerian full-back netted 25 points in a single quarter, he recorded 33 points at the end of the match (12/17 shooting).
He, therefore, remained stuck at a unit of his career-high signed when he played in Milwaukee.
Nwora also holds the record for points scored in a single match for Nigeria, scoring 36 points against Mali in 2018, erasing the 31 points of Ike Diogu.
Real Madrid have seen an appeal rejected for change the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Manchester City.
Real Madrid will host the first-leg on Tuesday 9 May at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
Real Madrid’s upset with the decision is due to the Copa del Rey final being played three days earlier, with only 71 hours between kick-off in the two matches.
After losing the Spanish Super Cup to Barcelona in Riyadh, the Copa final against Osasuna represents an opportunity for them to win their first domestic trophy of the season.
