Eagles in tough situation – Enyeama

As he looks set to return between the sticks for the Super Eagles ahead of their AFCON qualifying opener against Chad in Kaduna next month, Vincent Enyeama has said the Eagles know what they are up against.

Enyeama last featured for the national team against Uganda in March; on his 100th cap, and returns under Stephen Keshi along with 14 other foreign based players for the AFCON qualifiers.

But Enyeama described the current form of the team as critical and charges support for the team as they intend to earn their return to the continental competition.

” This is a critical game and we know what excatly we’re up against. We know what the position of the team is but we can’t over emphasize that fact,” Enyeama told www.footballlive.ng.

” We also do need the fans behind us, pray for the team, expect much and support us all the way as we work towards a successful qualification campaign.”
