Chief Aro at the ceremony

Obalu community  at Efon-Alaaye in Ekiti State was in high spirits at the weekend as businessman and socialite, Chief Oso Oladesu, celebrated his installation as the Aro of Obalu.

The ceremony was witnessed by top indigenes, including Assistant Controller General Ishola Oladesu; Mrs. Alake Ologbenla; Omotayo  Femi, Genga, Taiwo and Kehinde, Adebayo and Nike.  Chief Oladesu was respledent in his blue Aso Oke, waving the horsetail to the crowd.

The event was presided over  by Owagboni Obaloja Pariola, assisted by his chiefs – Elemo Ilesanmi, Ayinja Elekolusi and Alake, Erungbua of Obalu Quarters, who called for peace and unity in the kingdom.

The Elemo prayed for long life for the celebrator and peace for his domain at Iloja Steet.

Chiefs, women and others danced within the palace.

Guests donated towards the palace rehabilitation.
