The funeral service for Chief Joseph Owoyeye Alade, the father-in-law to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Ekiti State, Dr. Modupe Alade, will hold today at Methodist Church Cathedral at Ilogbe in Ifaki-Ekiti
The late Alade, of B134 Ilogbe Quaters in Ifaki-Ekiti, Ekiti State, died on September 19.
He was 110.
The body of the deceased left the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) mortuary yesterday in a motorcade to Ifaki-Ekiti to his home where a Christian wake-keep and service of songs was held at 5 p.m.
After the interment, a reception and entertainment of guests will take place at Methodist Girls’ High School’s playground in Ifaki-Ekiti.
The late Alade is survived by Mr Olu Alade, Mrs Modupe Alade (daughter-in-law), other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
