Ekiti State Government has directed immediate stoppage of the monthly salary of a traditional chief, Mr. Sunday Faluyi, at Iworo Quarters, Omuo-Ekiti, Ekiti East Local Government.
Deputy Governor Mrs. Monisade Afuye gave the punitive order during a troubleshooting parley yesterday.

She was interfacing with a delegation from the community at her office in Ado-Ekiti.
Afuye stressed the need for chieftaincy title holders to be circumspect of their actions and realise that they should be peacemakers.
