Ekiti State Government said it has concluded plan to begin administration of measles vaccines for 32,000 children under the Integrated Measles Campaign, to reduce infant mortality and morbidity.
The Deputy State Immunisation Officer, Ekiti State Primary Health Care Agency, Mrs. Omolabake Ogundola, spoke in Ado-Ekiti at a media parley to launch the commencement of the campaign against measles.

She said the vaccination targeted at children between nine months and 59 months, would be carried out across the 16 local governments.
Ogundola said the vaccination would take place in health and designated outreach centres across the state, urging parents and caregiver to visit the centres closest to them and immunise their children.
