Popular Comedian, actor and singer Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth has been signed by a US based record label, Empire.
Basket Mouth made this announcement via his Instagram post where he shared a video and his photos with two other top personalities of the record label signing the deal.
In his caption, the A-list entertainer asked his music producer, Duktor Sett if he was ready to make more music.
He wrote: Hey guys, did I mention that I’ve been signed by @empire? Well…I am. Time to make more beautiful music. @DuktorSett you ready?,”
His latest body of work “Your Body”, which features Buju was officially released on September 14, 2021.
Produced by Duktor Sett, this new hit is a follow up to Basketmouth’s last single ‘Ghana Jollof’ (featuring Falz & Kwabena Kwabena).

The much anticipated “Your Body” musical video is expected out later today as announced by Basketmouth.
The comic act-turned- singer ventured into music with the single “Myself” in 2020.
“Myself” delivered by singer Oxlade and rappers- Show Dem Camp is a track off Basketmouth’s “Yabasi” project, a ‘Papa Benji’ Soundtrack Album.
On this music project, released later in the year 2020, he Featured musicians; Duncan Mighty, Ice Prince, Oxlade, Show Dem Camp, Waje, Ladipoe, Flash, BOJ, Chike, Zoro, Play, Umu Obiligbo, Ceeza Milli, Flavour, Phyno, The Cavemen, Bez, Dice Ailes, Peruzzi & Ill Bliss.
Nigerian artists already signed to the Empire Record Label include Olamide, Fireboy DML, and Kizz Daniel.
