Former Flying Eagles star, Tom Dele-Bashiru, has admitted that improving his goal ratio should one of his season’s objectives after he bagged his first goal of the season goal for Watford in the English Championship last weekend.
Watford FC got a valuable draw against Coventry City last weekend courtesy of Dele-Bashiru’s 67th minute strike and buoyed by the goal, the Nigerian disclosed that he is gunning for more goals that will help the Hornets return to the EPL at the end of the season.
Coventry shocked the Hornets faithful with the opening goal after four minutes of action through Ellis Simms but Watford through Dele- Bashiru stormed back to tie the game with a second half equaliser.

In a chat with the club’s media, Dele-Bashiru agreed that it was vital for him to add goals to his game to become a complete player.
“I need to add goals to my game, so I’m pleased to get one today, and I think it was a fair result in the end,” he told the club’s media.
The Nigerian has played in all Watford’s five games in the Championship this term with a goal to his credit and he will be looking forward to ensuring that the Hornets go in the hunt for more points on Saturday when they visit Carrow Road as guest of Norwich City.
