New innovations in printing technology will take centrestage at the forthcoming Propak West Africa exhibition and conference, endorsed by the Industrial Development Department of the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment.
The session topics will cover issues impacting the sector such as keynote presentations on ‘Understanding Packaging in the Cold Supply Chain’ and ‘Print and packaging automation and Industry 4.0: Smart Manufacturing and Sustainable Manufacturing’.
Others are ‘The challenges of recycling food-grade polymer. Can they meet food and beverage industry sustainability targets?’. Billed for between November 22-24 at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, according to organisers, Afrocet Montgomery, attendees can expect to discover brand new technology, learn about growth opportunities and benchmark in the market.

The panel includes Managing Director, BASF West Africa, Dr Jean Marc Ricca; President, World Packaging Organisation, Prof Pierre Pienaar and Technical Project Manager of Doehler, Ernest Ighravwe.
The conference will take place alongside companies in the packaging, plastics, printing and food processing sectors, over 200 firms exhibiting.
Products on display include extrusion, printing, converting machinery, injection moulding machines, flexible packaging, paper and cardboard packaging products to digital and large format printing machines, will be showcased on the exhibition floor.
