Adedayo Omolade Falusi, who earlier in June was inducted as an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, has called on Nigerians, especially youths, to embrace agriculture.
Amb Adedayo Falusi (as he is now popularly addressed), founder and CEO of My IVAV Farmstead, an organic livestock farming company, avowed that agriculture is a sustainable way of creating wealth.
Defending his decision to go into organic farming, he said: “At MyIvav Farmstead, we aim to raise organically fed birds free of chemicals to ensure a better taste and better health. We are open to receiving orders. And we deliver to various parts of Nigeria.”
The Babcock University-trained accountant raises pigs, poultry, turkeys, catfish, goats and snails on his farm.
Of his company’s recent offer of investment plan to the public, Amb Adedayo Falusi explained the motivation for the move thus: “As the activities on agricultural input and output rises, we decided to conceive an idea of not just the random agricultural practice or livestock farming, but the kind which encourages people to do more on agriculture with a sense of agricultural empowerment.”
He spoke further about the investment plan which he dubbed PP (for poultry and piggery) Investment.
Said he: “Livestock farming generates higher revenue and profit than other aspects of the farm business. There are many products gotten from livestock, apart from meat. With our Pp Investment package, you can either be a poultry investor or a piggery investor. What we simply do with your investment is expand our business by raising more animals, getting them ready for consumption and selling to the right consumers to make a substantial profit whereof we pay all our investors their ROI(Returns On Investment) at when due.”
The big idea behind the designing of the investment plan according to Amb Adedayo Falusi is “to eradicate poverty in our best-known way by encouraging investments as we understand that not everyone can be business owners and that shouldn’t be a limitation to making extra cash.”
