Fireboy DML: no protocol or timetable in music release

FIREBOY DML

YBNL and Empire music signee Adedamola Adefolahan aka Fireboy DML has opined that there are no protocols or timetables in music release.

The music star recently made this known in a short video interview published by Empire music management company after the release of his third album, Playboy.

“There’s no timetable or protocol when it comes to music like I always say. When it is time, it is time irrespective of what anyone says,” he began.

Continuing, he said, “many were saying Laughter, Goosebumps and Tears is still banging, why release a new album when you have a classic album yet to outlive its time but I say conventional things don’t make history. There’s nothing iconic about conventional songs, nothing conventional is iconic. It was time and I made songs and here we are.”

The 26-year-old Fireboy DML was signed on YBNL by Olamide in 2018 and has gone on to release three albums, two of which were distributed globally by Empire music and management.
