A firm, Teekross, has inveiled Flyzzz, an insect screen product, into the market.
Its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tayo Awe, said he conducted a research in the Nigerian environment and discovered that most buildings were not well protected from flying and crawling insects, adding it was also discovered that people were often attacked by malaria because of their exposure to mosquito bites.
This he said led to the introduction of the product to tackle the challenges. The products according to him are; roller insect screen for door and window, sliding frame insect screen, insect window and door frame, plisse insect screen, insect curtains/panel screen, aluminium (casing) window to match ‘insect screen products’.
Awe, said the produtcs are durable and do not retain heat during hot season. He also explained that while using the product, there wouldn’t be need to use air freshner.
