A five storey-building under construction on Thursday collapsed in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State with five persons injured.
It was gathered the building, which was said to be a hotel caved in at Awosika area of Ibadan North Local Government Area.
Another source said seven injured persons have so far been rescued from the rubble of the building.
It could not be ascertained if any life was lost in the incident yet.
The rescue party, which consists men of the State Fire Service, the Federal Road Safety Commission and other security agencies have been deployed to the scene.
