ASSOCIATION of Professional Food Service Providers of Nigeria (APFSPN) has canvassed safety in food production and sales.

Its Chairperson, Monioluwa Osho, spoke at the induction and conference of APFSPN.

One hundred and five members were inducted into the two-year-old association.

She said when food is unsafe, it becomes a problem, urging everyone to practise good food production and eating.

The group is looking for a “mechanism to invest in food safety in a sustainable way” and innovate for investment.

With the theme: “Best Practices of Succession Planning for Food Providers,” as a strategy for success, she  said the topic was “key to our business as businesses go into extinction because of zero strategy for succession planning”.

Guest speaker, Mrs Adanze Osomonika, who spoke on “Mental Health,” warned that the thought of who would take over the business successfully could lead to stress.

She warned that fear, stress and complaints were signs of mental ill-health.

Osomonika said relaxation, and experience sharing were panacea for mental illness.
