The Gboyega Oyetola Foundation (GOF) yesterday concluded the training of strategic vote canvassers for Saturday’s governorship election.
The Foundation, chaired by Prince Felix Awofisayo, started with the selection of competent individuals as directors for each of the senatorial districts.
It has nine deputy district directors for each of the federal constituencies and administrative officers, and women and youth leaders in each of the local government areas.
The Foundation kicked off the training on June 2. It was declared open by Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

It extended the seminar to each of the nine Federal constituencies across Osogbo, Ila Orangun, Iwo, Ede, Ikirun, Ibokun, Ile-Ife, Ilesa and Ikire.
The Foundation trained over 757 vote canvassers up to the ward level.
They were equipped to train canvassers in the 3,773 area units.
The Foundation aims to encourage 900,000 of 1,600,000 registered voters who did not vote in the last election to do so this time.
