Gamaliel and Susan Onosode Foundation (GAMSU), a not-for-profit organisation, has renovated a block of four-classrooms at Olomu Community Junior Secondary School in Ajah, Lagos State.
The classrooms were opened and handed over to the school on May 18.
The initiative, according to the founders, will ensure pupils learn in a safe and conducive environment.
Secretary of GAMSU Board of Trustees, Spencer Onosode, said: “This project serves as a testament to GAMSU’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and creating optimal learning environments for pupils in underprivileged communities.
“Last year, the foundation touched Aguda Grammar School in Surulere by renovating toilets, repairing broken chairs and tables, and providing 55 others for pupils and teachers.
“GAMSU is dedicated to improving lives through education. Its mission is to provide underprivileged youths skills, resources, and opportunities for a brighter future through quality education.
“The foundation remains committed to fostering success of the Nigerian child. One of GAMSU’s objectives is to promote and support educational institutions and programmes championed by faith-based or government organisations in Nigeria. This, we will continue to do.”
