Four persons – Udeme Ekaiko David 44, Johnson Ohiri 62, Festus Chinaka, 40 amd Kehinde Akinyemi, 45 – were yesterday arraigned before an Ebute Metta Chief Magistrates’ Court over alleged N15,000,000 theft.
The defendants were arrested by the men of State Criminal Intelligence and Investigative Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos Mainland to have allegedly stole kitchen utensils valued at N15,000,000 from Obisan Homemade Explorer.
It was said that the defendants stole the goods between 2012 and April 2016 on 1, Zansi Close, Onike, Yaba, Lagos.
Akinyemi was said to have received stolen kitchen utensils from David valued at N300,000 property of one Chief Williams on 5, Deji Street, Bariga, Lagos.
They pleaded not guilty.
Magistrate Oluyemisi Adelaja admitted the defendants to N1,000,000 bail each with two sureties in the like sum.
Adelaja adjourned the matter till August 31.
