Children in Lagos State, between four and six years old, were last Friday feted with free breakfast and gifts to mark this year’s Children’s Day, celebrated every May 27.
Meals and gifts were given by Peak 456 Growing Up Milk, a product of FrieslandCampina WAMCO, at Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Alausa.
The children got free sachets of Peak 456 Growing Up Milk, courtesy of the brand and its promise of providing good nutrition.
Marketing Manager (Specialised Nutrition) Akon Imoh said: “Peak 456 Growing Up Milk is for children, aged four to six years, and since this is a special day for children, we want to share the joy of the occasion with them. They deserve this and a lot more, but this is just us demonstrating our care and affection…
“Peak 456 Growing Up Milk is formulated to … help children grow up strong and smart. FrieslandCampina WAMCO believes every child has the right to better nutrition. Hence, making age-appropriate nutrition accessible to every Nigerian child starting from breakfast.”
