The Ota Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), ACC Leye Adegboyega, yesterday, decorated newly promoted officers of the Command.
Adegboyega said the promotion was the reward of hard work. He urged them to be more committed and diligent.
The Unit Commander said they have more responsibilities and so they must be more effective and efficient.
He urged the officers to work harder to enable the agency achieve its goals for the year, which include safe fleet regulation, sustained stakeholders consultation; collaboration with states on improved road safety administration, improving enforcement and public education to reduce road traffic crashes.
The Unit Commander urged other officers not to be discouraged as promotion comes from God. He said they should continue to render their best as there is always another opportunity.
Among the newly decorated officers is the wife of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) National President, Route Commander Adijat Odusile.
