Aderemi Oseni, the lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has urged Nigerians to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu more time to address the challenges facing the country.
Oseni acknowledged that while some of Tinubu’s policies may seem tough, they are necessary to secure a brighter future for Nigeria.
Speaking in Ibadan during the launch of a N250 million empowerment initiative for the Blacksmith, Welders, Iron Benders, and Metal Technicians Association of Nigeria (BWAIAN), he called on Nigerians to remain steadfast and continue supporting Tinubu’s administration despite the current economic hardships.
He expressed optimism that Tinubu’s efforts to fix the country will soon bear fruit, encouraging citizens to stay hopeful for a better and more prosperous Nigeria.
Oseni added that Tinubu, as a friend of the people and advocate for human welfare, is committed to improving the lives of Nigerians.
Speaking on the N250 million empowerment, the lawmaker said the initiative was aimed at enhancing skills, productivity, and business potential of metal artisans across Oyo State.

He commended resilience and economic contributions of blacksmiths, welders, and other metal workers, emphasizing their vital role in the state’s economy.
The Chairman, House Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), said the empowerment was part of his broader agenda to support artisans, adding that the programme will provide BWAIAN members tools, machinery, and financial assistance to enhance their trade and improve their livelihoods.
Oseni reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents and the people of Oyo State, stating that his entry into politics was driven by a desire to serve.
The N250 million initiative includes the distribution of essential tools, equipment, and financial grants to BWAIAN members, aiming to expand their businesses, boost their incomes, and contribute to the state’s economic development.
BWAIAN’s state leader, Munirudeen Adegoke Rauf, lauded Oseni’s gesture and called on other political leaders and well-meaning Nigerians to follow his example by supporting small and medium-scale entrepreneurs.
