KEBBI State Governor’s wife, Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, and her Akwa Ibom State counterpart, Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel, will join dignataries at the 14th Dr. Siju Iluyomade’s Arise Women Conference, a yearly event to motivate and empower women.
The event, slated for Saturday at Trinity Towers of City of David, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victoria Island, Lagos, will discuss, motivate and empower womenfolk, particularly the most vulnerable.
Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, wife of deputy governor of Lagos State, Dr. Mairo Almakura, former Nasarawa State governor’s wife, and Prof Folashade Ogunsola, vice-chancellor-elect of University of Lagos will also attend the event.
Convener, Dr. Iluyomade, said 5000 less privileged families would go home with free Arise Pink bucket full of foodstuffs; rice, beans, tomato paste, Semo, groundnut oil and other items.
Popular gospel artistes like Mike Abdul, Nathaniel Bassey, Beejay Sax, Gospel Force, Efe Nathan, Ayan Jesu, Bidemi Olaoba, will perform at the event.
