A social cultural group, Ile Bintin Club of Lagos has commiserated with the government on the demise of the Oloja of Lagos and Arole Kosoko, Chief Adebola Disu Ige-Kosoko.
He died on December 23.
A statement by Olatunde Dabiri, on behalf of the group, said : “we commiserate with the Lagos State Government, the traditional council of Lagos State, the Kosoko royal family and the entire Lagosians on the demise of the Oloja of Lagos. Until his death, Chief Disu Ige–Kosoko was the Arole of the 19th century legendary ruler of Lagos, Oba Morounfolu.
“The octogenarian would be remembered as an astute promoter of culture, tradition and commerce in Lagos State.”
