Gunmen have invaded a hotel in Isu community, Onicha council of Ebonyi and killed three persons.
A resident, Igwe Nwaokorie, said yesterday in Abakaliki that the incident happened on Thursday night.
One of deceased was the owner of the hotel, Ogbonnaya Nwadibia, also known as “Galaxy”.
“The incident occurred in the night of Thursday, August 25. The suspects came on motorcycles armed, about three of them, and entered the hotel.
“Before we knew what was happening, we started to hear gunshots that lasted some minutes. After which, they left and three persons were found dead, including the owner of the hotel,” he said.

Police spokesman Chris Anyanwu confirmed the attack but said the command was yet to have the full detail of the incident.
Also, a gunman killed a woman in Riyom Local Government of Plateau State.
The deceased identified as Lyop Dalyop was said to have been killed shortly after returning from church on Saturday.
The incident, it was gathered, occurred in Bachi community around 8 pm.
The National President of Berom Youth Moulders Association, Dalyop Mwantiri, confirmed the attack in a statement.
According to the youth leader, “Just some minutes ago, armed men suspected to be Fulani militias short dead one Mrs Lyop Dalyop of Bangai villages in Bachi District, Riyom LGA.
There was no response from police spokesman Alabo Alfred. The military task force also denied any knowledge of the incident.
