Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat are among those to speak at this year’s Junior Chamber International Nigeria (JCI) Southern Conference.
JCI Southern Conference, hosted by JCI FESTAC, will be held between April 27 and 30 in Lagos.
Tagged: “Eko Akete”, the conference, with the theme: “Now and the Future; Youth Involvement & Action for Sustainable Development,” is opportunity for JCI members to network and proffer solutions to challenges affecting the country, in partnership with governmental and private institutions.
Gafar Odubote, Southwest executive vice president, said: “This conference is a chance for us as young people to discuss our involvement in nation building and showcase the leadership and networking opportunities within JCI”.
South south-Southeast Executive Vice President, Oluwatosin Ligali, adds: “This is great opportunity for JCI members to share ideas, network with other organisations, learn from one another, and build relationships.”
The conference chairperson, Olubukola Agbaje, said: “We, at JCI FESTAC, are proud to host this epoch-gathering of over 1,000 young leaders from across Nigeria and beyond. This conference is in partnership with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), Food Commodity, Zedge Consulting, International Breweries, Valencia College and this will be an opportunity to connect with relevant stakeholders in Government and captains of industries in the Private Sector.”
