A one-day outreach, in collaboration with Ta’awun Health Initiatives (THI), has organised free medicals in Kosofe Local Government, Lagos.
The patients besieged the event with various health challenges, taking advantage to do a general check up on their health.
Director of the organisation, Taiwo Lasisi, said focus was on preventing health which was cheaper.
Lasisi said the government could not do it alone, hence the need for corporate bodies, non governmental organisations andindividuals to invest in the health sector.
Alhaji Aranyo Babatunde Bilal, deputy director of the organisation, said the initiative became necessary because a few people access health care.
Two beneficiaries, Mr. Habeeb Adisa and Madam Zainab Adewale thanked the organisation for bringing succour to the sick.
