Heartland FC Technical Adviser, Christian Obi has challenged his players to brace up to their responsibilities and try to get more serious for the Naze Millionaires to leave the relegation zone.
A firebrand Naze Millionaires scored two away goals in Kaduna but still ended up on the losing side to Niger Tornadoes last weekend in Kaduna after some defensive errors.
Obi who lost his first game since the start of his second stint in charge of the team wants the players to approach their weekend NPFL Matchday 18 tie with Kwara United with the seriousness and attention it requires.

“It was a fair performance from the boys but they must sit up and try to be more focused for the entirety of the game. We scored two goals for the first time in an away game this season but we committed some mistakes in defence and let in goals that we could have avoided,” Obi told the club’s Media. “The players just need to redouble their efforts and ensure they play with absolute focus. The game with Kwara United is a game we must win. We must go all out for it.”
Heartland FC are 19th on the league table with 16 points from 17 games.
