Suspected herders have killed about seven farmers in Gidan Sule community of Keana council area of Nasarawa State.
Five of the seven Tiv persons were said to be killed on Saturday, while two were reportedly killed in the early hours of yesterday.
Over 1,000 persons have been displaced and taking refuge at Kadarko, Giza towns and other places within Keana LGA.

Our correspondent learnt that the attack was a reprisal after a Fulani man and his wife were killed by Tiv farmers of Gidan Sule.
Tiv leaders have met with Keana council authorities over the attacks, and also appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule to deploy security personnel in the area.
