I draw inspiration from Afrobeats, Afropop, says Emovibe

Fast-rising singer, Emovibe, who recently released his latest single ‘Tonight,’ leaving fans amazed by his creativity and vocal prowess, has shared where he draws inspiration from.

In a chat, when quizzed about the idea behind ‘Tonight,’ Emovibe stated, “It’s a night to have fun, basically forget everything and just have fun.

“My intention with the song was to create an upbeat and enjoyable track that would uplift listeners and provide them with an escape from their worries.”

Growing up in a musically inclined household, Emovibe was exposed to various genres of music from a young age.

He developed a deep love for music and showcased his talent as a rapper during his secondary school years.

However, it wasn’t until 2018 that he realised his true calling and decided to pursue a career in music, inspired by his artist friends.

Drawing inspiration from Afrobeats and Afropop, Emovibe described his style of music as a fusion of catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics.

He has already released two EPs, titled “THREE” and “EMOVIBE,” which showcased his ability to captivate listeners with his unique sound.

His debut single, “Message To My Mentor Davido,” released in 2021, received positive reviews and marked the beginning of his musical journey.

In 2022, Emovibe solidified his status as a rising star in the Nigerian music scene with the release of his extended playlist “EmoVibe.”

He demonstrated his growth as an artist and further established his distinct sound.

Currently working on his third project, an extended playlist titled “NEXT RATED,” which promises to showcase a different side of him that his audience has never seen before.

Emovibe also expressed his gratitude to his label, SIXREELCLASSIX, for their unwavering support and for helping him establish his presence in the music industry.

Despite being relatively new to the scene, Emovibe has already captured the attention of music enthusiasts across Nigeria with his dedication, talent, and determination evident in his work, even as he aspires to create his own distinct genre in the future.
