The Administrator, Rivers State, Vice-Admiral Ibok Ibas (retd) has reconstituted the state’s local government and civil service commissions.
The Administrator in separate statements signed by the Secretary to State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibibia Worika, appointed Dr. Livinus Bariki as the Chairman of the the new Civil Service Commission.
Others appointed as members were Amb. Lot Peter Egopija, Mrs Maeve Ere Bestman, Mrs Joy Obiaju and Mrs Charity Lloyd Harry.

Ibas appointed Mr. Israel Amadi as the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission.
Other members of the commission were Mr Linus Nwandem, Lady Christabel Ego George Didia, Dr Tonye Willie D Pepple, Richard Ewoh, Rear Adm. Emmanuel Ofik (retd) and Dr Sammy Apiafi.
The statement said the appointments took effect from April 7.
