Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo, has unveiled plans for the festive season as Christmas gets nearer.
The management of the resort has assured guests of a memorable experience at the hotel with exciting and fun activities.
In a statement, the hotel management said it will entertain guests from December 23, to January 1, with a lineup of engaging activities that will enable the public to enjoy a good ambiance and the opportunity to take a break from their everyday hustle and bustle.
“For ten days, the hotel has designed activities to meet the expectations of children and adults alike which includes a whole day of Christmas Eve buffet with mouth-watering cuisines made up of local and continental dishes, special carol night featuring special Christmas tree lighting, family picnics at the resort, and fun activities for kids as well as various outdoor activities.
“It all starts with the special Christmas tree lighting ceremony by the general manager as well as carol night and Picnic party, guests & staff of the resort on December 23. On December 25, the Vista Restaurant will be hosting a Christmas-themed extended buffet and kids’ party. Guests will be treated to a Boxing day brunch and swimming competition on the 26th of December and the Coconut hangout at the Marina club on December 27,” the statement reads in part.
Speaking on the plans, General Manager of Ibom Icon Hotel & Golf Resort, Charles Muia, assured guests of a memorable festive season at the hotel saying, “We have also begun refurbishment of our rooms and other strategic points of the hotel to ensure a truly world-class hospitality experience this yuletide season.”
