FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s striker, Bello Korfarmata was scheduled to resume action on Wednesday in the Federation Cup round of 16.
The striker, who won the title twice with Heartland, had a tear on his thigh against Lobi Stars in the Federation Cup round of 32 in June where he got the only goal and three weeks after he’s set for action.
“I had a tear on my thigh in the Federation Cup round of 32 and I’ve been out since then but thank God I’m back and ready for action. I’ll be up for selection against Katsina United on Wednesday, ” Korfarmata told Goal.
“We may not be in a very good position in the NPFL but we aren’t going to give up. We shall continue to push and hopefully achieve our top three target. The Federation Cup affords us another chance to secure a continental slot which is also very tough but we shall face it head-on and hope we can reach the final then finish up by lifting the trophy,” he added.
“I know so well that I’ve got the experience when it comes to the Federation Cup, I won it back to back with Heartland FC and I still can help FC Ifeanyi Ubah lift the trophy.”
